I wouldn’t buy these if you actually plan to cook in them. I first spotted the terra cotta at a weekend craft fair and thought they looked great, so I even tipped my brother to pick up a set. At first they seemed fine — really nice finish, rustic look — but within months they started to show hairline cracks, then bigger splits and odd staining. We used them for everyday, gentle stovetop stews, nothing extreme, and still they deteriorated fast. When I asked the company about a refund they basically said it was our fault, accusing “thermal shock” and refusing any help. That part was frustrating and felt like being brushed off. They’re not useless — they look lovely as bowls or plant pots — but they’re too fragile for regular cooking in my experience. So yeah, nice to look at, disappointing to use. If you want cookware that lasts, I’d pass; if you want decoration, fine.
