no DHL pickup confirmation, so I was just guessing if my parcel reached the warehouse. No phone number to call, which meant a parade of emails. They finally said they received it on September 19, but I’m still waiting on the refund confirmation. Compared to other shops that at least answer the phone, this felt slow and a bit careless and annoying.

What tipped it was persistence. I replied, stayed calm but firm, asked for the refund and a return label, and kept copies of receipts, bank alerts, and photos of the tags. I followed up politely but regularly. Eventually they issued a return label and processed the refund. When the credit hit our account, relief replaced irritation — that was the true satisfaction: seeing the money back and knowing the complaint wasn’t ignored. It wasn’t instant, and it shouldn’t have required this much effort, but the final result felt fair.
If you’re traveling: check prices for a currency symbol before paying, save photos of tags and receipts immediately, and don’t be shy to contact a brand’s corporate channels if a store acts dismissive. Also, if you get a friendly corporate reply, keep pushing — it helps. Emotionally, it was tiring to deal with on holiday, but getting the refund made it worth the hassle; felt vindicated, if a little exhausted. I’d shop there again only if price tags are clear and staff are upfront — otherwise I’d avoid the risk.
