upgraded Courtney in Truffle Brown, 18 inches, and that one matches my color better. I’m even thinking about a custom piece that mixes features from both. Overall I feel more confident and actually kind of glad I started this — it’s been easier than I expected and I’m enjoying checking out options.
Small win for my thin hair
I almost didn't buy this. I saw a clip on Instagram — a friend had recommended UniWigs — and I was skeptical. My hair is thin and fine. I've tried pills, serums, clip-ins, and hand-tied extensions that looked great but were expensive to keep up. I worried about color matching. I worried about the topper looking fake. I worried I would fumble putting it on every morning.
Not what I hoped for
excited, but immediately noticed the color was off and the topper didn’t sit right on my head. It looked too shiny and a little fake. I really wanted it to work, honestly. The piece itself might be fine for someone else, but it wasn’t for me. I reached out and they approved the return, which I appreciated, and I paid about $20 to FedEx to ship it back. FedEx got it in two days — delivery back to them was actually impressively fast, no complaints there. Where things went sideways was the refund. Instead of the full amount, I got a partial credit and a note that I’d agreed to some kind of restocking/shipping protection fee at checkout. I have no memory of clicking that, and I wouldn’t have. It felt like they were blaming me for something I didn’t do. I try not to be the type to leave negative reviews — I’ve had companies mess up before and fix it fairly — but this one felt different because they seemed more interested in keeping money than making it right. They can resell the topper for full price and I’m left out about $58 after the return cost and the withheld fees. That stings, especially when I was willing to try other pieces from them if the refund had been handled in good faith. Customer service was the weak link: initial approval was fine, but the follow-up on the money was frustrating and felt defensive, not helpful. Delivery gets a thumbs up — fast and smooth — and the product may work for others, but the hidden-fee situation and the back-and-forth with support soured the whole thing for me. If you decide to try them, check every single checkbox at checkout and keep screenshots. I’d go elsewhere next time unless they seriously change how they handle returns and refunds.
Morning delivery surprise
the deliveries usually show up right when you need them. I’ve been with this brand about a year now and have a small collection — different blondes, a few Upgrade Claire and Upgrade Claire Plus pieces — and honestly, the thing that stuck with me most is how reliable the shipping and support are. One time a package went missing (hurt my heart for a minute) and their response was fast. I used their online inquiry tool like they request — don’t email, use the form — and they replied within a day. They didn’t make excuses: they resent my order and I had the topper in hand within a week. That kind of follow-through matters.
Upgraded Courtney in Dark Caramel (18in)
I just bought the Upgraded Courtney in Dark Caramel (18 inches) and I am totally in love with it! It's my first topper and I'm already thinking about getting another one so I can switch up the styles. The quality is top-notch and I've gotten tons of compliments on it. The color also fits my skin tone perfectly. And the delivery was really quick - ordered on January 12th and got it on the 25th. Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase and will definitely be buying from them again.

Soft, silky wig
I recently got this amazing wig that is super soft and silky, and it looks incredibly real! The fibers are top-notch quality and the hairline looks very realistic. One of the best parts is the large lace front that allows me to style it in so many different ways. The only downside is that the cap and edges of the hair are a bit dark, so I have to make sure to cover them up really well. But overall, I am absolutely in love with it, and so are all my friends!
Toppers, checkout issue, order change
I got some really cool stuff from this place, but one time I ran into some trouble checking out and had to change my order. Luckily, Bethany came to the rescue and helped me fix the glitch. She also reminded me to use my birthday voucher that I forgot about and even helped me change my order after I had already paid. She was so nice and really made the whole experience much better. Definitely the best customer service I've ever had!
Courtney topper after a year and a half
I've had my Courtney 12 inch topper for over a year and a half now, and it's still looking brand new. The price was great and it's super easy to use, especially for beginners like me. It's comfortable to wear and stays secure, even when I'm dancing. My natural hair is darker, but when it peeks through, it looks like lowlights. I highly recommend it!

Oh my gosh, I don't get why people are talking trash! This hair is seriously so shiny because it's coated in silicone. All you gotta do is rinse it off and it looks incredible. This Courtney topper is my very first one and I'm totally obsessed with it. I snagged it on sale and it looks hella fancy and feels super soft. I saw some folks mentioning it's from China, but like, where else would it be made? So legit. I'm totally gonna continue buying my hair products from here.
