I set the small parcel down on the counter and thought, okay—this will be quick. The box looked a little scuffed, had strips of blue and clear tape around it, nothing dramatic. I opened it like anyone would and found... nothing. The watch I ordered was gone. Just an empty inner box and that weird feeling of having been short-changed.
Mixed bag but some good bits
I liked that someone actually replied quickly, but don’t count on the delivery date. I ordered on Sunday, July 20 because the website clearly showed delivery on July 22 — that was the main reason I hit buy. First impression of the checkout was fine, simple enough, and I was relieved to see the expected date. Then things went sideways. I got an approval email around 9 AM on July 21 saying I’d get another email when the order was processed or dispatched. That never came. I called the customer number listed (0208 688 5748) and it just wasn’t working — weird and a little annoying. On the plus side, after I opened a support ticket I got a response within an hour, which felt good and shows they do read messages. The agent said the order had been dispatched in the morning, but I never saw a dispatch email or any useful tracking, so I’m skeptical. Long story short: I’ll probably not get it before the date I needed (I’ll be away for school holidays), which is disappointing, but the prompt support reply softened that a bit. If they tighten up their tracking and keep phone lines updated, this would be a lot better. For now, mixed feelings — hopeful but cautious.
Almost gave up, but glad I stuck with it
they asked for photos after I already opened the box (which, of course I did — you open packages, right?) and then told me the tape meant it couldn't have been tampered with before delivery. That part had me rolling my eyes. I wasn’t thrilled with how long it took either — several days of back-and-forth emails where I kept having to explain the same thing. Not ideal.
But here's the part I want to highlight: once I started asking to escalate, one agent actually listened, dug into the case properly, and pushed for a resolution. It wasn’t instant, and it wasn’t perfect, but eventually they offered a full refund and even a discount code for a future order. So the end result was good. I used that code to reorder and this time the watch showed up intact and works great. It’s now part of my everyday routine — I wear it on my morning runs, during coffee breaks, and it’s been surprisingly reliable for tracking steps and sleep. It looks better in person than in photos, too.
I’m being positive because the product itself is solid and the follow-through after escalation was real. Still, don’t overlook the rough edges: initial responses were slow and the first round of customer service felt like they were reading a script. Also, the packaging could be improved — I kept worrying about another empty box, which is not how you want to start a weekend. If you’re using this for daily wear like I am, give it a shot, but save screenshots, take photos right when you open a parcel, and don’t be shy about asking for escalation if needed. All things considered I’m satisfied — not 100% thrilled with the process, but glad it ended well and the watch actually gets used every day.Quick delivery, malfunctioning watch, poor customer service
I recently bought a watch from Watches2U and was super impressed with how quickly it arrived. But then I got bummed out because the watch wasn't working. I called customer service and they told me to get the battery replaced and they'd cover up to £10. So, I went to the repair shop they recommended and it ended up costing me £19.99 for the replacement. I sent over the receipt like they asked, but I haven't heard anything back about getting reimbursed. I'm really unhappy about this whole situation with Watches2U.
Ladies Field Watch purchase
I've always been a big fan of watches with a backlight, so you can imagine how excited I was when I came across the Ladies Field Watch at Watches2U. Gift Received not Functioning
I just bought a watch from Watches2U as a gift for someone special. The delivery was quick, but when they opened the gift, the watch wasn't working. It was disappointing to see their excitement fade as they figured out the watch was broken. Now we have to take it to a local watch repair shop to see if it needs a new battery or if it's a bigger issue that needs to be fixed by Watches2U.

I bought a watch online and it's been like almost two weeks and still no sign of it. They gave me a tracking number but it stopped working after two days. I've sent them two emails but haven't heard back. Seems like they're trying to scam me. I wouldn't trust them at all!
