Pulled this peeler out last weekend and instantly remembered why I loved the old Y ones. Feels familiar — nice width, good grip, sharp but not scary. Used it on potatoes and apples right away; smooth, fast, no fuss. Not flawless (blade could be a touch smoother) but honestly way better than the narrow replacements I tried before.
Finally that Y peeler again
Saw this on a shop shelf and almost didn't grab it because the newer ones had been narrower, but this is the classic Y shape again — nice. The blade width is just right and the handle sits nicely in my hand; it's sharp but feels safe. I told my sister about it. Not flawless—there's a tiny plastic seam—but still way better than other peelers.
Lost then sorted — nice support
I started getting emails asking for a review before the griddle pan ever showed up. I kept checking the DPD tracking like a hawk and it barely moved, so I figured something was off. I emailed them and explained, and yes, at first it felt like I was the one doing all the chasing — not fun. But customer service actually picked it up, dug into the carrier, admitted they couldn’t get clear answers, and offered a refund or a replacement. I chose the replacement and it arrived in about two days. So yeah, annoying start, but the way they handled it made me feel taken care of. A small shout to the team: don’t send review requests until delivery is confirmed. To other buyers, don’t panic right away — contact support, they’ll help. I’m relieved and overall pretty pleased.
Mixed-up order, still no refund
sloppy confirmations, bad inventory control, zero follow-up. I’ve filed a complaint and I’m still waiting on the refund, with no replies. If you deal with them, watch your bank account and keep screenshots of everything — trust me, you’ll need them. I do wish one person would pick up the phone and sort it out; that would change the whole impression. Small hope: fix the back office and stop sending surveys for things people never got.
Half Skeptical, Mostly Relieved
I was halfway through setting the thing up when I realized how nervous I'd been buying it — moving, sore lower back from hauling boxes, and I'd read mixed stuff so I almost didn't order. The ordering emails were messy and delivery notices contradicted each other, so yeah, big doubts. But once it arrived and I used it a few days, most of that skepticism melted. It's not perfect — assembly notes are sloppy, the cover wrinkles and the cushion could be firmer — but it actually helped my back and that's what mattered. Customer service was slow at first and their messages felt automated, I had to follow up, but they were polite and eventually fixed the shipping confusion. Price seemed fair for the relief I got. Small annoyances remain, but overall I'm really glad I took the chance.
