this actually helped more than I expected and saved me time and stress. I signed up because I wanted to figure out whether to defend a suit or settle, and within a few days I had clearer next steps — not legal advice, but real, practical guidance I could act on. The interface is straightforward, the templates and walkthroughs feel like they were made for people who don’t speak legalese, and the answers are specific enough to be useful. What surprised me was how personal the follow-up was: the co-founder and CTO checked in a couple times, asked clarifying questions, and didn’t make me feel like an idiot for not being a lawyer. That was refreshing. I still plan to talk to an attorney for final sign-off on anything major, but this service let me narrow the questions so I wasn’t paying for hours of general consultation. Their YouTube stuff is decent too — quick videos that actually explain the process instead of just pitching features. If I have a gripe, it’s small: sometimes I wanted a slightly faster turnaround on one document, but they were transparent about timelines and helpful while I waited. Overall I’m glad I tried it, relieved it wasn’t a waste, and I’d tell a friend to give it a shot if they’re trying to figure out next steps without dropping a ton on an initial lawyer visit. Worth the monthly fee in my case.
Good draft, stingy extras
the complaint draft was sharp and actually cut my work in half. Downside: key features like draft responses and medical summaries are paywalled, and there may be file-size limits. So it's helpful, but not enough without an expensive upgrade.
Late-night upload gamble
I bought this while half convinced it would be useless. Used it late one evening to rewrite a complaint draft. First pass it gave me my own file back—facepalm. I fiddled with the prompt and asked again. Second try? Better edits, clearer tone. Still quirky, but it worked. Not perfect, but useful.
Charged then ghosted
Weirdly, it started with a single $1 charge and no password—like, no login info ever arrived. Signed up for the free trial and followed their steps; every link and instruction failed, unlike other companies that send a password. I opened three support tickets in 24 hours and heard nothing back, nothing. What worries me most is they keep the card on file and there’s no way to get into the account to cancel — feels like they set things up to bill people who can’t use the service. The app looked fine in screenshots, would’ve worked if I could log in.
