I still use Dolphin Anty and overall I’d give it a cautious thumbs-up, but you need to babysit it around updates. It does a lot of the heavy lifting — easy profile management, neat workflow for switching identities, and when it behaves you can run multiple accounts pretty smoothly. That said, their forced updates have caused real headaches for me. One update flipped proxies from HTTP to SOCKS5, broke session routing, and some IPs started showing wrong locations; right after that my main account got suspended until 2026 even though I hadn’t done anything shady. They claim reduced detection and stability, but those promises don’t always hold. The browser can be slow and the extension system sometimes felt like it made me more detectable, not less. Support tends to point at the proxy provider instead of owning the issue, which is annoying — response times can be slow and defensive. Still, compared to other companies I’ve tried this is workable and even better in spots. They claim reduced detection; sometimes it helps — session isolation once cut down cross-account leaks, so that part's useful. Support can be slow and defensive, but occasionally they respond and patch things. It’s not perfect, no, but with testing, backups, and a cautious approach it works pretty well and I’m still using it.
Worked at first
I first heard about Dolphin on a small forum, and a buddy sent me the link. I tried the free plan on my Mac with residential ISP proxies from marsproxies, because that was the setup others recommended. The first real win came when I could make a Google account normally. Phone verification worked with a standard number. That moment mattered — I was relieved and honestly a bit happy that it just worked. I warmed up a new YouTube channel for two weeks, posted the first video and got only four impressions. It stayed there. That looks like a shadowban. I tried to spin up Facebook and Instagram too. Both sites threw CAPTCHAs, phone checks and then identity checks with video and photos. Both accounts ended up suspended and my appeals failed. Dolphin support told me to click health status to update a user agent and then try again. If critical anti-detection steps rely on users noticing a manual update, that's a problem. Profiles can be compromised that way. So I’m glad the Google step worked. But overall I don’t trust Dolphin anymore.
