Booked a private tour despite my gut telling me to be careful. Paid hundreds, guide never turned up, got a partial refund — still really annoyed, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Customer service actually saved the day
quick replies, refund processed and replacement e-tickets sent same day (honestly surprised). We used them for a family weekend stroll — fits our quick-getaway routine and the kids enjoyed it, so that was a relief. Delivery of the digital tickets was smooth after the mix-up and the rep was friendly. Still annoyed about the no-show, but really grateful they fixed it fast.
Midnight cancellation blues
“cancelled.” No backup, no apology worth the name. I called customer service right away and after a lot of hold music they told me there were no tours on the 19th–21st and the only slot was the 22nd — which, surprise, was my flight home. Their “solution” was to tell me to go buy tickets at the stadium myself. So I did, trudged over there only to learn tickets were sold out for both days. There’s a weird mix of anger and sad comedy to wandering up to a sold-out stadium because a company dropped the ball. In day-to-day life I’m the type who plans little rewards into trips — a special tour, a meal, something to look forward to — and this one was gone. The booking itself had seemed fine at the time, the price wasn’t outrageous, but delivery and support were disappointing and disorganized. They could’ve offered alternatives, refunds, anything. Instead, I was left improvising. I’m still glad I saw parts of the city, but missing the stadium felt like the trip’s missing piece. Customer service needs to be better — honest, helpful, and actually reachable when it matters.
Almost walked away, then the kids smiled
30 for a noon start, about 25 people in the whole group. Things felt off when the first security check dragged on past 12:15 and then we joined a massive line. I asked what was happening and was told the guide still had to buy our tickets — and that could be a two‑hour wait. That made me pretty skeptical, like why did we pay extra for this? The kids got restless, the guide showed a picture book and there wasn’t much of a real tour while waiting. We didn’t get up until around 2:45. Price felt steep — we paid €54 and €44 for the kids — and I thought I could have handled the tickets myself cheaper. Still, the moment we finally reached the top and the kids’ faces lit up, I felt relieved — the view and their excitement redeemed a lot. Not perfect, but in the end it worked out enough for what we needed.
Private tour rip-off
I had the most insane experience. I booked a private tour, shelled out hundreds of dollars, and guess what? The guide straight up ghosted me. Such a waste of money and time. The customer service was terrible and they completely lacked professionalism. No way am I ever using this company again.
