be persistent and ask for confirmation; a polite nudge seems to get things moving. Glad it worked out in the end, and I appreciated the refund + the fast replacement.
Too many calls, mixed outcome
different people, no answers about my order, voicemail left with no return. Eventually they admitted the item wasn't in stock after all. Annoying. On the plus side they processed my refund without fight and the price itself seemed fair, so it wasn't a disaster. My advice: if you call, get something in writing, and keep your own notes. I'm glad I didn't lose money, but the customer service was below what I expected.
