Late-night unboxing showed a flawless helical cutter head for my Makita 2012NB. Shipping was quick, fit was perfect — swap took five minutes. Bit pricey, but works great overall.
Quietly impressed
Surprised, real upgrade to my toolkit, shipping was fast, wish packaging sturdier.
Low expectations, good fit
Spotted them tucked in a late-night woodworking thread and bought one out of curiosity — half expecting cheap knockoffs. Blades came quick, well packaged, and fit my planer perfectly. At first I was doubtful, but they matched or beat my DeWalt originals. I even told a coworker to grab a set.

Finally, a proper upgrade for my planer
the chat kept looping and I nearly abandoned the whole thing, but after a few back-and-forths it got fixed and I could check out. Weirdly, the blades arrived a few days earlier than the head which made me worry for a second, but the main unit showed up the next day and was packed well. Installing it was surprisingly straightforward; all those YouTube channels showed dismantling the second chain and removing the circlip, but I didn't bother — I shoved a wooden pole through the chairs and tapped the shaft out. Took under two hours to swap everything, clean up, and have the planer running. The difference was immediate: smoother, quieter, and better cuts right away. Not perfect — the ordering hiccup and split delivery were annoying — but functionally it's brilliant. If you're on the fence, I say go for it.
