It was a weird little relief when the refund finally posted — that's the exact moment I knew this whole thing wouldn't be a complete train wreck. I signed up for a game, canceled within minutes (got the confirmation), and still saw a charge after the trial ended. I reached out to support, was annoyed at first, went back and forth, and after escalating I got the full refund and a clear explanation. Not perfect — took longer than it should and their first rep wasn't helpful — but compared to past fights with other services, this actually got resolved. So yeah, glad it worked out in the end.
Local channels won me over
paying full price for just a handful of channels feels rough, and I’d love a cheaper local-only option for folks on fixed incomes. If they offered that, I’d sign up in a heartbeat. For now, solid service but pricey.
Half-time popcorn regret
the app loads fast, picture is sharp, controls are simple and I actually like using it. Sports is different. Fubo teased NFL lineups that made me hopeful, but our Bills would appear and disappear week to week. Some weekends it was perfect, other times you'd search and find nada. Super Bowl Sunday was the straw — family gathered, nachos ready, and no legit feed to watch. I called support, fiddled with settings, and eventually canceled. It's not a total disaster — when it works it works well — but for die-hard fans the inconsistency is a dealbreaker.
Half-baked delivery
delivery was the mess. My charges got flagged as foreign (weird), links to dispute or get a refund were gone, and reaching support felt like shouting into a void. That said, a rep finally picked up late and actually stayed on the line — big surprise — tried to sort billing and offered a small credit. It didn't fix the main issue: the big game never came through and that credit barely covered anything. So honest opinion: avoid if you need something dependable. If you just want to tinker and don't mind stress, maybe. But don't rely on them for important stuff.
Finally stopped stressing
I only signed up for Fubo to watch that one game — had been looking forward to it, even skipped a few plans — so when the stream wouldn’t play it but played everything else, I was baffled. The app kept throwing a “no internet” error even though my other apps were fine. I reached out, asked for a pro-rated refund for that day since the whole point was the game, and the rep told me my account had to be terminated first and that they’d already charged the next cycle. I’d actually canceled a week earlier because $60+ for a month wasn’t worth it to me, so that felt off. Chat got disconnected after I pushed back. The small relief came later when I found a backup stream and actually watched the game — weirdly satisfying to realize I didn’t need to argue anymore. Mildly annoyed but glad it ended without me losing more time.
Glad I gave it another shot
audio was solid, no buffering, and channel switching was quick. That’s the exact moment I felt good about keeping it for the season. Setup was simple, the app didn’t make me fight for settings, and customer support actually helped without a long wait. Not flawless, but honestly glad I didn’t cancel right away — it delivered when it mattered.
New TV came with Fubo — mixed bag
sign-up was fine, but the delivery of the actual streams and the customer support around it left me unimpressed. The app picks a video resolution and then seems to forget that my needs change — news in the background doesn’t need top quality, but I have to toggle settings every time I change channels. That eats data, and in my testing Fubo used roughly three times the data I use on YouTube TV for the same shows. You’d think higher data use would mean smoother playback, but it doesn’t. I get frequent stutters, random pixelation, and the guide lags; recordings sometimes don’t stick. I tried contacting support — slow replies, generic troubleshooting steps that didn’t address the streaming hiccups, and I had to repeat myself a couple times. If you care about consistent delivery and responsive service, this felt like a downgrade compared with my previous streaming experience. I’m kind of annoyed because I wanted to avoid going back to cable or satellite contracts, but at this point reliability matters more than a month of freebies. Small emotional note: disappointing, mostly because it seemed solvable.
Midgame blackout, rude wake-up
no email, no phone, chat is a bot that never hands you off. Their app also nags with pop-ups and clunky menus. Customer service felt non-existent; billing felt much present. I would've shrugged it off if they'd refunded or talked, but they shut things off with no option. Kinda frustrating, glad my friend tipped me — at least I learned what to watch out for.
