Crypto currency scam
I got scammed with cryptocurrency on a hotel review site not long ago. Lost a good chunk of money and now I'm having a hard time getting any help from the people I need it from.
Inquiry about Messaging on Telegram
I'm wondering if those two people who complained about getting the same messages on Telegram were able to sort things out with the company. I'm dealing with the same problem, so I'm really interested to know if the customer service was able to help them out. It's so important for companies to quickly fix any issues customers have to keep them happy and loyal. That's why I'm really looking forward to finding out what happened with those other customers.
Wise money refund scam
Hey Michelle, I wanted to tell you about my frustrating experience with Wise. Trying to get my money back was a total nightmare. No matter what I did, they just kept saying no. I even made a chat group on Telegram for others who got scammed by Wise to help each other out. If you're interested in joining, let me know!
Blocked account issue
I had a horrible experience with this service recently. They accused me of sending "bot traffic" and blocked my account even though I showed proof that I was innocent. I never got the money I was owed, and the customer service team was no help at all. I felt really let down and taken advantage of as a customer by this shady company.
Dubai hotel booking
I just booked a hotel in Dubai using this platform, and it ended up being a total disaster. The website they sent me to was in financial trouble, and it was obvious that HotelsCombined didn't do their homework on the third-party providers they suggest. As a customer, it's really frustrating to think that I can't count on the service to make sure the companies they partner with are legit and trustworthy. I tried to talk to HotelsCombined about the problem, but they kept sending me back to the sketchy website even though they knew what was going on. It's not cool to risk customers like that, so I won't be using this platform again.
Scam ordeal
I had a really bad time with this online hotel booking site recently. Right after I started using it, I got scammed without even realizing it, and my account ended up being way overdrawn. It was a total mess, but luckily, my bank and the cops helped me get some of the money back. It's crazy that there are still shady things like this happening today.
Account issue with Orbitz rate and hotelcombined
I heard that someone's having issues with their Orbitz and HotelCombined rates. Their account is in the negative and they have to add a bunch of money to it. That seems like a total scam! And now they're thinking about switching over to Priceline-Online.com? I don't know if I'd trust them either. Having to pay extra just to get your own money doesn't sound fair at all. Hopefully, someone can assist them with this situation!
Bonus Scam
I got tricked by their tempting bonus deal and got scammed out of $6000. At first, I had to shell out $40, but then got hit with fees totaling $2800 in the second round. Now I still owe $775 more to these scammers, with 9 more payments to make. This company is just plain evil, taking advantage of unsuspecting customers like me. They need to be held responsible and thrown in jail for their dishonest ways.
Reliable travel booking platform
I've been using this travel booking platform for years now whenever I need to make reservations. It always comes through and never lets me down. The developers really knocked it out of the park with how user-friendly and efficient they made this platform.
Hotels website troubles
This website was decent at first when I was reviewing hotels and cashing out my earnings. But things took a turn for the worse. The more hotels I rated, the more my account balance went up, but then it suddenly went negative. Now I have to pay that negative amount just to withdraw any money. To make things worse, both websites are no longer active. I've tried reaching out to someone for help, but haven't received any response. I also reported the issue to Wise and Action Fraud, but haven't seen any progress since November. If anyone has any tips on how I can get my money back, I would really appreciate your help.
Work-from-home scam
I got tricked into this work-from-home scam that promised fast cash. At first, it seemed real - I made like $30-$40 on the first day. But then, it all went downhill on day two. They wanted me to add more money to my account to be able to take out what I earned, saying it was part of the process. Long story short, I ended up flushing thousands down the drain and never got anything back. Total scam, so I'm telling everyone to watch out for these traps.
Booked holiday through a travel website
My family and I had booked a vacation online. But when we arrived at the hotel, they told us our reservation had been canceled! We were devastated to realize we had lost our money. Neither travel insurance nor the credit card company could assist us. We were at a loss for what to do next. Hotels Combined seemed impossible to reach. After some searching, I discovered that they had gone bankrupt! It's unbelievable that they claimed 300 million people trusted them. Clearly, they are not trustworthy at all!
Scam alert!
This hotel rating thing is just a sneaky scam meant to trick you into thinking you'll make money, but really you end up spending all yours to keep going. It's like a trap that makes you owe money in the end. Luckily, I figured it out on day one and took out my deposit before things got worse. Now they're posing as Orbitz, but they started off pretending to be HotelsCombined. I called them out in their Telegram group, but they denied everything and didn't care about my worries.
Refund Process Inquiry
I recently read a review about someone getting a refund through HotelsCombined and I want to know more about how to do the same. The reviewer said they got their money back, including the deposit, just a few days after their final payment. Seems like they had to be firm with the platform to make it happen. Another person, Arash Farmazi, called for others who were scammed to join a support group. The reviewer also mentioned a blog called "Scam Watcher" that helps people who have been scammed by HotelsCombined.
Hotel booking through HotelsCombined
In a world full of sketchy "trusted partners" like Happyrooms.com, HotelsCombined really shines as a company that puts customer satisfaction first. I had a bad time with one of their partners, but HotelsCombined jumped in right away to make sure I wasn't left in the dust. They really went the extra mile, willing to give up their own cut just to fix things. Their commitment to keeping customers happy is just awesome and deserves some major props. No doubt about it, I'll definitely be coming back to HotelsCombined for my next booking.
Barbados hotel booking through a third-party platform
I made a reservation at a hotel in Barbados using a website, thinking I was getting a great price. But when I called the hotel to double-check, I found out my booking had actually been made and canceled without me knowing months ago. I was pretty upset and ended up with no room and no money back. HotelsCombined said they couldn't help because they're just a search engine. I'm definitely not going to use that site again.
Inaccurate hotel prices
I was checking out hotel prices and found one that looked really cheap, but when I checked the actual price, it was way higher. And it wasn't just one website, it was three of them with the wrong prices! Even the more expensive rooms were lower quality. It's frustrating trying to plan a budget trip when prices are all messed up. And it keeps happening, which is really annoying.
Hotel review
Hey HotelsCombined! I noticed that you guys have fewer hotel reviews than other sites. Reviews really help me figure out which hotel to go with, so it would be awesome if you could get more reviews on your site to give people, like me, a hand in making a decision.
Inquiry on timeshare sale legitimacy
I got a call from this company called "DetectaHotel" asking about selling my timeshare with Occidental Vacation Club. I'm not sure if it's legit, so any help checking them out would be awesome. You can reach me at Lori dot Waddell at yahoo dot com. Thanks a bunch.
Job offer inquiry
So, I was online looking around when I stumbled upon this telegram message from a site that said it was a hotel comparison platform. They were talking about a job opening for an "online hotel assistant" to review hotels. The offer caught my interest, but I couldn't help but feel a little skeptical. I wanted to double-check to make sure it was a legit job and not some kind of scam or phishing scheme. It's always good to stay on your toes and be careful with job offers that pop up out of nowhere, especially if you don't know where they're coming from. It would be nice if the platform could reassure us about the legitimacy of these messages to steer clear of any shady business.
