I signed up during a move and had bad back pain, so I needed a quick, basic landing page. The trial worked. Then they charged me for two months after the trial ended — months I never used. No clear warning about expiration. Support refused a refund and hid behind legal wording. Delivery was fine once it ran, but customer service was slow and evasive.
Charge scare, relief later
I saw the charge and froze — 888 dollars on a card I hadn’t expected. I’d been using the account for nearly ten years, keeping landing pages, images and copy for client work, so losing it would’ve been a real problem. I complained, asked for a refund, and after some back-and-forth they did refund and reopened access to my drafts. It wasn’t smooth — felt like blackmail at first — but the moment my pages reappeared I relaxed. Still annoyed about the sudden price jump and the hassle, but finally I got what I needed.
Strange refund runaround, ended up okay
Halfway through a move and not feeling great from lugging boxes, I needed a simple landing page fast — couldn't spend days rebuilding stuff. Signed up, realized the builder was too limited for what I do, so I emailed to cancel. Support replied that I had to log in and cancel myself, but the account had already been deactivated that same day and I couldn't access it. That was annoying, I wrote back, they checked and after a short back-and-forth eventually refunded me. Delivery of the product itself was fine, customer service was slow and confusing, but relieved I got my money back.
Morning shock billing and locked account
Woke up to an email saying they'd charged me $888 — definitely not what I expected. I’d had lingering doubts about price hikes for a while, but I stuck with Leadpages because I use those landing pages for my small freelance biz almost every day. They refunded the charge when I complained, but then shut my whole account so I can’t access ten years of pages, images and copy. That move felt like pressure to re-subscribe and hasn’t eased my worries at all. Pretty disappointed, and honestly I’m looking for alternatives unless they restore access.
That little “oh wow” moment
I stumbled on this after a colleague dropped a screenshot in our design Slack — I’ve been designing about 15 years, so I’m pretty picky. Tried it out, hit a weird account hiccup and expected a long fight with support. Instead they actually helped me log back in, canceled what I didn’t need and issued a same-day refund. That’s literally when I knew it was worth recommending. I told a couple people at my local meetup (and a friend who insisted I try it) — not flawless, replies were a bit slow once, but overall super smooth and I’m happy I gave it a shot.
Cancellation mess after a decent builder
the cancel process is broken and that's a dealbreaker for me. I use Leadpages every day to spin up quick landing pages for my side gig and for client tests, and the editor is actually pretty decent, I'll admit that. But when I tried to cancel a subscription recently the cancel button simply did nothing — clicked, nothing. Had to jump through hoops, tried different browsers, cleared cache, everything. Feels intentional, like dark UX that keeps billing going. I want to trust them, and I used to, but this rubbed me the wrong way. Please fix it.
Relief after a rough cancel
good product, clunky cancellation flow, decent recovery.
When the rules changed
they’re locking published landing pages behind an upgraded plan, saying older pages are being 'sunsetted' and you can only publish five unless you pay up. It feels like being strong-armed into upgrading. I’ll migrate soon, but I’m oddly relieved export tools worked and support answered curtly yet usefully and quickly. Not happy, but at least the data isn’t lost now.
Cornered by new pricing
clean editor, fast, something I could rely on. Lately though they rolled out shiny paid features and suddenly my familiar pages were at risk unless I bought the new plan. They capped published pages at five and called it "sunset", felt more like an ultimatum than product evolution. The editor still works nice, I like how it handles modules, but this pricing move and forced upgrade smell like gouging. I’m moving everything off here slowly, even if it’s a pain. It did make building pages quick and kinda fun.
Turning the corner
the app looked fine but the billing language was buried, which caused confusion. When an unfamiliar charge showed up, support was slow at first, and I was annoyed — not great. But after a follow-up escalation they reversed the charge, walked me through securing my account, and actually followed up the next day. It wasn’t perfect, and the cancellation policy could be clearer, but I’m glad they fixed it and helped me avoid missing bills. Grateful it ended like this.
That awkward morning bank alert
check charges faster and don’t expect service when things go wrong.
Not worth the price, refund hassle
I signed up on a random Tuesday evening and dove in right away. At first the builder looked slick — pretty templates, fast setup — but within a day it felt kind of thin for what they charge. I canceled the renewal the day it hit my card (yes, annoying timing) and asked for a refund, explained why, but they wouldn't budge — money was gone. Only later they emailed the policy like "told you so." Customer support felt robotic and sort of dismissive; not the kind of people you want when you're trying to sort a billing mess. Delivery of the product itself was instant, credit card charge even faster, but the human side lacked. I'm bummed I had to switch; hope they listen more to customers. Small fixes would help a lot.
Solid builder, rough edges
I fired it up on a slow Tuesday evening and the editor immediately felt intuitive — drag-and-drop, decent templates, and I had a clean-looking page faster than I expected. I started using it for a week-long promo and the speed saved me a ton of time (really). The downside is the billing — I got charged on renewal day and their refund rules were strict, which rubbed me the wrong way after I explained my situation. So yeah, it’s great for quickly building nice pages and I liked the design options, but the price feels high for what you get and the billing policy needs work. Not perfect, but useful; I’d use it again if they loosened up on refunds.
Surprise charge, slow fix but access was fine
access stayed on, no warning banner in-app, just a bank alert. I contacted support and at first it felt like talking to different people in a relay race — mixed answers, “can’t do refunds because of open disputes,” then “we’ll offer a special rate,” then silence. That’s annoying. After escalating and filing a dispute I finally got a refund and a clearer explanation, so the story ended better than it started. Still, the whole experience made me nervous to trust automatic renewals; I switched billing to manual and watch the invoices now. Day-to-day the product does what I need — quick pages, decent templates, reliable delivery — but the billing and customer service workflow needs work. If you depend on this for client work, keep an eye on charges and be ready to push for answers.
Nice builder, messy billing
watch your renewal date and keep screenshots of receipts. If they cleaned up transparency and empowered support, I'd be willing to come back. For now, proceed with caution.
Customer Support
I just wanted to say thanks for the awesome customer service I got. I was able to figure things out on my own, but the quick and helpful responses from the team really stood out. Big thanks to everyone who replied so fast and offered such great help.

Leadpages is a great company to work with. Their customer support is fantastic, they really go above and beyond to help you learn how to create pages and offer flexible payment options when things get tough. They're professional, fast, and always respond with kindness and empathy.
Problem-solving assistance
I had to reach out to customer service for help with a couple of problems I was having, and I have to say, the help I got from Cole & Brady was amazing. They didn't just give me basic answers - they really dug into the issues and worked hard to fix them. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and committed they were to helping me out. That kind of support is what makes a company stand out when it comes to taking care of their customers.
Landing page software comparison
I've tried a few different landing page software options before, but Leadpages is definitely the best one. It's super easy to use, well-optimized, and has a really intuitive interface. It makes creating amazing landing pages so simple. I love all the customization options too – I can make every page fit my branding perfectly. Since I started using Leadpages, I've seen great results and my online presence has improved a lot. I highly recommend Leadpages to anyone who wants to boost their online presence and increase conversions.
Lead Generation Software Purchase
I'm really upset by how cold and unprofessional the company's management team has been. It's just really surprising to get such a heartless and unsympathetic response from people who are supposed to be in charge. It's not a good look for the company when they act like that. It's just really disappointing to see them not caring about how customers feel.
