    Morning shock billing and locked account

    Woke up to an email saying they'd charged me $888 — definitely not what I expected.     That little “oh wow” moment

    Cancellation mess after a decent builder

    the cancel process is broken and that's a dealbreaker for me. I use Leadpages every day to spin up quick landing pages for my side gig and for client tests, and the editor is actually pretty decent, I'll admit that. But when I tried to cancel a subscription recently the cancel button simply did nothing — clicked, nothing. Had to jump through hoops, tried different browsers, cleared cache, everything. Feels intentional, like dark UX that keeps billing going. I want to trust them, and I used to, but this rubbed me the wrong way. Please fix it.

    When the rules changed

    they’re locking published landing pages behind an upgraded plan, saying older pages are being 'sunsetted' and you can only publish five unless you pay up. It feels like being strong-armed into upgrading. I’ll migrate soon, but I’m oddly relieved export tools worked and support answered curtly yet usefully and quickly. Not happy, but at least the data isn’t lost now.

    Cornered by new pricing

    clean editor, fast, something I could rely on. Lately though they rolled out shiny paid features and suddenly my familiar pages were at risk unless I bought the new plan. They capped published pages at five and called it "sunset", felt more like an ultimatum than product evolution. The editor still works nice, I like how it handles modules, but this pricing move and forced upgrade smell like gouging. I’m moving everything off here slowly, even if it’s a pain. It did make building pages quick and kinda fun.

    the app looked fine but the billing language was buried, which caused confusion. When an unfamiliar charge showed up, support was slow at first, and I was annoyed — not great. Day-to-day the product does what I need — quick pages, decent templates, reliable delivery — but the billing and customer service workflow needs work. If you depend on this for client work, keep an eye on charges and be ready to push for answers.
