Signed up, realized the builder was too limited for what I do, so I emailed to cancel. Support replied that I had to log in and cancel myself, but the account had already been deactivated that same day and I couldn't access it. That was annoying, I wrote back, they checked and after a short back-and-forth eventually refunded me. Delivery of the product itself was fine, customer service was slow and confusing, but relieved I got my money back.

    Morning shock billing and locked account

    Woke up to an email saying they'd charged me $888 — definitely not what I expected. I’d had lingering doubts about price hikes for a while, but I stuck with Leadpages because I use those landing pages for my small freelance biz almost every day. They refunded the charge when I complained, but then shut my whole account so I can’t access ten years of pages, images and copy.     That little “oh wow” moment

    Cancellation mess after a decent builder

    the cancel process is broken and that's a dealbreaker for me. I use Leadpages every day to spin up quick landing pages for my side gig and for client tests, and the editor is actually pretty decent, I'll admit that. But when I tried to cancel a subscription recently the cancel button simply did nothing — clicked, nothing. Had to jump through hoops, tried different browsers, cleared cache, everything. Feels intentional, like dark UX that keeps billing going. I want to trust them, and I used to, but this rubbed me the wrong way. Please fix it.

    When the rules changed

    they’re locking published landing pages behind an upgraded plan, saying older pages are being 'sunsetted' and you can only publish five unless you pay up. It feels like being strong-armed into upgrading. I’ll migrate soon, but I’m oddly relieved export tools worked and support answered curtly yet usefully and quickly. Not happy, but at least the data isn’t lost now.
