Email newsletter management tool
I've been using this email newsletter management tool for more than a year now for personal and client websites. It's super easy to use and makes creating and managing newsletters a piece of cake. But I wouldn't suggest it for Internet Marketing Affiliate, MLM, or Biz Opp niches.
Email marketing software purchase
I recently had a really frustrating thing happen with my account getting randomly stopped right in the middle of an important campaign. It messed up all my marketing plans and could've even cost me some money for my business. The fact that there was no heads up or explanation for why it happened was super annoying and seemed really unprofessional. I rely on the service to be solid and dependable, but this time it definitely fell short. I'm hoping they step up their game with better communication and account management in the future to avoid this kind of mess again.
Migration of mailing lists to a WordPress integration
We decided to switch our mailing lists to a new service to work better with WordPress. Unfortunately, our experience with the new service has been pretty disappointing. We've run into a bunch of problems with our account getting blocked, supposedly because of some spam reports even though they were few considering all our users. The worst part was back in June when our account was blocked for more than three weeks and we didn't hear anything back from customer service. It seems like they're eager to take our money but not so quick to help us out when we need it. Overall, this has been one of the worst experiences we've ever had with a newsletter service.
Setup frustrations
I worked for weeks getting the free version of this service all set up, just to find out that it doesn't even send abandoned cart emails. It only sends emails to people who are already subscribed, so what's the point in trying to get new customers? And don't even get me started on the pricing - it's way too expensive compared to other choices out there.
Newsletter service experience
As someone who relies heavily on sending newsletters to my subscribers, I was really let down by the service I got from this provider. They suddenly blocked my mailings with no explanation, and it took them days to fix the problem, all the while still charging me. Adding to the mess, the plugin they gave me crashed my website, leaving me unable to get it back up and causing me to lose my valuable list of 15,000 contacts that I had spent years building. I tried reaching out to their support team for help getting my list back, but I never heard back from them. Overall, it was a terrible experience that I strongly suggest others stay away from.
Email marketing software
This email marketing software was a total nightmare to use. It deleted subscribers, crashed my website, and even messed up links in emails I already sent out. The updates totally messed up my MailPoet database, even though I tried to avoid them. And don't even get me started on the support team - they were no help at all, even though I was paying for it. Trust me, steer clear of this software if you want to save yourself a lot of headaches.
Sneaky logo link
The company sneaks in their logo with a link to their website in your emails without even asking. That's just not cool, it's not right. I'm really not happy about this.
Email plugin purchase
The French localization is a total mess - it's all in Morse code! It's so annoying and confusing, like they want us to waste time decoding instead of getting stuff done. But besides that, the plugin works fine.
User of MailPoet for various types of websites
I've been using MailPoet for a while now, both for my smaller websites and bigger online stores. It's super easy to use and always reliable when I send out emails. The price is great and their customer support is top-notch, which has made my experience really good. I love that the emails always land in the right inboxes, making sure my marketing actually works.
Upgrade trouble
I was trying to upgrade my account, but man, I ran into all sorts of problems on the website. It was super annoying not being able to get to the Pricing page or send any emails until I got the upgrade done. And let me tell ya, it really messed with my ability to reach out to new customers and hurt my business overall. The help I got during all this was pretty disappointing, to be honest. The company really needs to make sure their website is working right so us customers can actually use the important stuff.
Starter account creation
I signed up for this email service that offers a free Starter account for up to 1000 subscribers. I tried to send out a "Post notification" email for the next day, but it never got delivered. The system just kept showing "Sending" for 2 days with no explanation or fix in sight. It's kind of worrying because if this is how it goes with the free account, I can only imagine how it would be with a paid plan.
