relieved everyone made the cruise, and honestly grateful the hotel jumped in — but the transfer itself was messy. Driver arrived about 15 minutes late and then refused to take my clients to the Miami/MSC Port, so Kimpton Anglers had to call a taxi and they paid an extra $83. We’ve got the chat logs, and when I tried to follow up the company basically denied it and said no complaint could be filed — felt scammy, really. Still, thankful it didn’t ruin the trip and the hotel staff were super helpful. My tip: double-check pickup details and have a backup plan, just in case. Hope the company fixes this for future travelers.
Skip the prebooked shuttle, take a local cab
I’m glad I ditched the transfer — local taxi was faster and cheaper. We landed in Tenerife and got stuck in a new biometric queue for about 1 hour 20 minutes (yeah, that long). I rang the “emergency” number they gave me — no answer, couldn’t leave a voicemail — and by the time I made it to the meeting point they told me the driver had left for another job. My Transfers then called me a no-show because apparently they only wait one hour. That felt unfair given the airport delays; maybe they should start the clock differently, I don’t know. In the end I grabbed a regular taxi, it showed up in 15 minutes and cost less than the prebooked fare (go figure). So, friendly tip: if your flight lands and there might be extra checks, consider a local cab instead — saved me time and hassle.
Missed pickup, lucky escape
30 and we were outside with suitcases from 9:20. No-show. I messaged the driver via WhatsApp, no reply for a while, then a message telling me to contact someone else. That was at 9:45. At 9:47 a different number said they were on their way and would be there by 10; that message disappeared later but I screenshotted it. After that we just ditched waiting and grabbed a taxi because we couldn’t risk missing our flight. I’ve been going back and forth with customer service for two weeks now. They keep saying we no-showed and won’t take responsibility, despite the evidence I sent. Frustrating. On the plus side, at least we didn’t miss the flight and I’m glad we had a backup plan. I appreciate the few responsive messages from support, but overall the pickup and handling left a lot to be desired. Won’t be using them again.
Late pick-up, long wait — mixed feelings
45 I’d cleared security and was at the meeting point, expecting someone at 6:00. No one. I called the emergency number and waited, and waited. No WhatsApp as promised, no driver. After about an hour the agent basically told me to grab a taxi or Uber because too much time had passed. That stung, because I’d paid and planned around that car. I ended up taking a taxi at 7:05 and it cost me way more than the booking — I saved the messages and the chat where they finally wrote but then ignored me when I asked how they’d fix it. Airports Taxi Transfers later said they processed a refund within five days, but I’m still waiting, so that part is unresolved. I asked for compensation for the extra taxi fare and the hassle; now they’re saying they were only an agent and not responsible, which feels like passing the buck since I paid them directly. Emotionally I’m annoyed, sure, but also a bit relieved I managed to get to my place without missing anything major. I’d say the idea was good and the booking was easy, but the service and follow-through need work.
Nearly missed the flight — awkward and costly
00 for a 14:05 flight (gate closes 13:35), so we felt safe — until we weren’t. The driver texted early that he was on schedule, but then nothing. Calls and messages went unanswered for ages; we tried repeatedly — around 9:30, 10:00, 10:15, 10:35 and later — and got a “coming shortly” at one point that wasn’t true. That line of “shortly” kept repeating and, well, it didn’t happen. With better and honest communication we’d have grabbed a taxi sooner and avoided the scramble. In the end we had to book an emergency cab to make the flight, which hit us for €450 on top of the original transfer fee (€718.20). I did get through to polite staff later who expressed regret, but they aren’t refunding the taxi cost and that’s the real sore point. So yes, I went in skeptical, some of those worries were justified; some team members were helpful when reachable, but the no-show and lack of clear updates turned this into a stressful, expensive morning. Not a total disaster — we made the flight — but far from smooth or acceptable.
MyTransfer pickup from Washington DC, Reagan Airport
I pre-booked a transfer with this company weeks before flying from Australia to Washington, expecting a smooth airport pickup. However, upon arrival at Reagan Airport, I received no details about the service, my driver or pickup location.
When I contacted MyTransfers support, I was redirected to a WhatsApp chatbot. After 15 minutes of back and forth, the chatbot finally said that a driver would contact me soon.
About five minutes later, a driver called via WhatsApp, saying he would be 30–45 minutes late. When I asked for details about the car and pickup location, he hung up mid-conversation. I called back, and after answering one question, he hung up again. On the third call, he said he would be even later and suggested that I “just take an Uber.”
Following his advice, we took an Uber, as the MyTransfers driver was now going to be over an hour late and still hadn’t provided any legitimate details.
When I requested a refund, the situation became even worse. MyTransfers claimed that the person I had spoken to wasn’t their driver and sent me fake WhatsApp screenshots as “proof.” These screenshots were clearly fabricated, with one showing the driver parked somewhere random at nighttime at 7:19 pm, and another photo sent directly after showing daylight at 7:30 pm in a completely different location.
This means MyTransfers gave my personal details to a stranger, then attempted to cover it up with falsified evidence and refused to issue a refund, falsely claiming that I “didn’t show up.”
I have reported this company to the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Booking private transfers between the Gran Canaria airport and our hotel in Puerto Mogan was super easy. The driver was on time, polite, and really nice. They were there waiting for us when we landed and even showed up early to take us back to the airport. Getting those confirmation emails before each ride made us feel better about our travel plans. All in all, it was a great service and we would definitely use them again.

I had a really good experience with the airport pick-up transportation. The driver showed up on time, was a good communicator, drove carefully, and was friendly the whole way. I really liked how smooth and easy the service was.
Unreliable transfer service
My experience with this transfer service was really disappointing. The driver didn't even show up to pick us up from the airport, so we were left stranded and waiting for over an hour. We tried calling the company multiple times but they wouldn't refund our prepaid fare and said the driver was already there. This lack of responsibility and bad customer service is not okay. I suggest not booking with this company.
Alicante to Benidorm transfer
I recently used this service for a ride from Alicante to Benidorm and back. The drivers were super nice, helped with our bags, showed up on time, and drove safely. It was a really great experience overall, and I'll definitely be using them again next time.

The driver arrived on time, which was nice, but then he drove like he was in a race or something! We tried telling him to slow down, but he didn't listen. It was pretty scary by the end of the ride.

Canceled flight, lost money
I booked a ride from the airport, but my flight got canceled so I had to come a day later. When I tried to change my booking, they told me I needed to give them 24 hours' notice. How could I have known my flight would be canceled only 12 hours beforehand?! They just took my €70 and said tough luck, no re-booking allowed. I'm definitely not using them again!

The driver showed up a few minutes before our scheduled pickup time and was super understanding when we realized we had more passengers than we originally thought. The car was really nice, super clean, and the ride was really smooth. I'll definitely be booking with this service again next time.
Minivan order, picked up by small SUV, too small child seat
I was bummed when I ordered a minivan but ended up getting picked up by a small SUV instead. And on top of that, the child seat I asked for was too tiny for my kiddo. But the driver was super helpful, nice, and friendly, which definitely made the whole thing better in the end.
Airport transfer
I just booked a ride to the airport, and it went pretty well. The driver showed up on time and we chatted during the drive. But then he tried to pull a fast one on me by saying he could drop me off somewhere else for an extra 5 bucks, which didn't sit right with me. I caved and paid the extra money, plus a tip that I now think was too much for what I got.
Missed driver, had to search for him
The driver was not where he was supposed to be when I got to the airport, so I had to go look for him. It was a hassle trying to change the time for my trip back, so I just ended up canceling it. Luckily, getting a refund was pretty simple.
