A mixed but oddly thankful experience
Overall, I'm oddly glad it wasn't worse — still pretty disappointed. This was my third time ordering and now I think it's my last. I ordered a book in April, paid for shipping and it's still MIA, so my niece missed her birthday. Wish I could give zero, but hey, lesson learned. Honestly, thanks for trying, really though.
Missing the little stuff
no room for friends, pets, hometown. After ordering though, the design was solid and kid liked it, so I’m okay.
Rough start, great finish
heavier than it looks, soft finish, fits nicely in your hand — a pleasant surprise. Used it all weekend and it worked like a charm. Delivery was shaky, but the item and support left me pretty happy.
Small-grab favorite
He grabbed it off the shelf this morning and actually kept the pages intact, which says a lot. The board pages are thick and easy for his chunky fingers to turn, the colors are bright without being loud. I made the character look like him and he points to "me" on every page, so story time is quicker and more engaged. It's sturdy, wipes clean, and feels well made — not fancy, just practical and it works for everyday use.
