I was able to accomplish this by talking to the expert recommended in review, which i reached on telegram ... He was amazing with the results he gave me. The information i received were accurate.
Almost relieved
screenshot everything, and be ready to dispute with your bank if they dig in.
Good tool, messy billing
the search worked okay but the billing/support ruined it for me. I bought the $29 plan to try and find family — didn’t turn up anything, which is fine, I can live with that. Next month they auto-renewed because I forgot to cancel. When I tried to cancel, some weird page flashed and in two seconds my card had a $69 charge. I called right away and disputed it, but then they blocked my access because I’d opened a dispute, even though the plan was supposed to be lifetime. It’s almost a month and still no refund. So yeah, the app gives decent leads, but watch auto-renew and be ready to fight for your money.
Almost a bargain gone weird
every report came with a separate download fee, like 95¢ to $3.99 each, so my cheap plan ended up costing more. On the plus side, some basic info was useful, I did find what I needed. My advice: read the fine print, check those tiny fees, and maybe don't rush into the "special" offers. Could be okay for casual lookups, but watch your wallet.
Sneaky billing, decent report but not worth it
I’d skip this. I paid what I thought was a one-time $3.95 for a single report and then, a couple days later, saw a $29.95 charge for a subscription I never knowingly signed up for. I contacted support right away. They sent steps to cancel and said they wouldn’t refund. I asked them to confirm the cancellation and their message made it sound like it was done, but then the status didn’t stick and I was set to be billed again. I’ve dealt with shady signup tricks before, so it wasn’t a shock, but still annoying. The report itself wasn’t terrible — I could’ve pulled similar info for free with a bit more digging. I’m glad I caught the charge early. Not the worst experience, but not worth the hassle.
That "lifetime" deal felt off
four charges of $29.99 plus the single $24.99. Lucky for me my bank caught most of it, but one $29.99 did go through. I tried to get help — no working phone number, their support email bounced back, and at some point I couldn’t even access parts of their site. So yeah, my pre-purchase doubts didn’t exactly disappear; they were justified. I’m letting them keep the $24.99 for the one use since I did get something out of it, but I’m fighting that extra charge. Feels like a bait-and-switch and it’s frustrating — mostly annoyed, not furious, but definitely not trusting. If a friend asks, I’ll say be careful and read the fine print — and don’t assume a “deal” is harmless.
Small unexpected charge, big headache
screenshot everything and set a reminder. Not happy, but a little relieved I caught it fast and wrote down every step.
Surprise subscription party
I’m sitting on my couch, half-watching a show and trying to quickly Google someone before a neighborhood playdate — thought I’d be clever and use that people-search site instead. Big mistake. The results they “delivered” felt like someone mailed me last year’s phonebook. Outdated info, little bits missing, and way more vague than what a quick Google gave me. I use these things to double-check addresses or make sure a babysitter is legit, so accuracy matters to me in daily life.
What really annoyed me though wasn’t just the crappy results, it was the billing and how customer service handled it. The ad says 95 cents for a search and you think, fine, that’s nothing. Then you get charged 95 cents, and then mysteriously $28.98, and $14.95 in the same week. It felt like they snuck in extra “deliveries” to my card, and when I reached out, support was kind of robotic — long wait, canned responses, no real help and zero refund. They acted like I’d signed up for a subscription I never knowingly wanted.
I’ll give them credit for a slick-looking site, but slick doesn’t mean honest. If you want up-to-date info fast, do a free Google search first. If you still try this service, watch your bank and don’t assume customer service will sort it out quickly. Small payments add up, and it’s not about the money so much as the principle — don’t like being ambushed. I’m done using it for my everyday checks; too risky when you’ve got kids, playdates and deliveries to juggle. That small, weird relief when the page vanished
screenshots, multiple complaints to different state and federal offices, a couple of messages to the registrar and the hosting company, and one mildly comforting chat with a privacy group. Some places moved faster than others, some replies were basically form letters, and I did have to follow up more than once. Still, persistence paid off. If you’re about to try this, keep a simple log — dates, copies of what you sent, screenshots — it helps when you’re juggling a dozen complaint portals and ticket numbers. Also, don’t expect a single “fix” email to do it; it took a chain of complaints to different players to get traction. My advice: be a little annoying, stay organized, and don’t let the first slow response scare you off. Emotionally, it was a relief — a small win that felt disproportionate because the whole process felt like punching through bureaucracy. I wish the system were smoother, but if you stick with it, you can push these listings offline.
Quick customer service help
I ran into a small issue and wanted to speak with someone for assistance. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait long before David answered the phone. He was really friendly and was able to help me out quickly. My problem was resolved right away, and I didn't have to invest a lot of time in it. Shoutout to David for all his help!
Got help with finding my missing phone number
The guy who helped me out was great! He found my lost phone number in no time. Super professional and made it all super easy. Like, so easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Unauthorized charges
I had a terrible experience with their customer service! I signed up for a trial, but they ended up charging me for a full month without asking me first. When I asked for a refund, they refused! I would advise you to be cautious with this company because they really don't seem to care about their customers.
One time search
I just wanted to try doing a one-time search so I paid the .95 like they told me. But then 2 days later, they went ahead and took 24.95 from my PayPal account! And to top it off, the service isn't even available where I live. Such a scam!
Billing complaint issue resolved
The staff member I talked to about cancelling my prescription was super friendly and didn't act suspicious of me, which I appreciated since I used to work in law enforcement. I only searched once before thinking I cancelled it, so I'm relieved they took my word for it.
Subscription trouble
I had a hard time canceling my subscription online, but this guy Sebastian from customer service was amazing. He found my account and sorted everything out immediately. He even called me back super fast. It was really convenient.
Full year subscription
I got a whole year subscription thinking I could reconnect with my lost friends and fam. But never got around to actually using it. I was bummed that I couldn't get my money back for services I never used. Such a waste of my allowance!
Online background check service
I was really impressed by the great service I got from this company. David was amazing - he was so helpful and knowledgeable, and he could answer all my questions right away. He really knew the policies well and made the whole process super easy for me. Thanks a lot, David, for your outstanding service!
Background Check
The customer service at People Finder was just terrible. I needed a background check and they couldn't even get my name right. It's Tammy A. Ann MANOR, not whatever they said. It felt like they weren't even paying attention or responding correctly. It was just a really disappointing experience overall.
People Finder services
I have to say, my first experience with People Finder wasn't great. I wasn't happy with what they offered and didn't really plan on going back. But then everything changed when I got to work with Sebation Acosta. He really went out of his way to make sure he met my needs and addressed my concerns. Even though I was all over the place and not very organized, he was patient and understanding the whole time. It was obvious he really cared about fixing things and making sure I was happy. Because of Sebation, I now see People Finder in a different light and would think about using them again.
Membership disagreement and refund assistance
Money was taken out of my card by mistake for a membership that I never signed up for, and that really stressed me out because I'm not working right now. Thankfully, Sebastian from customer service was super nice and understanding. He told me not to worry, he would make sure I got a refund, and then he sent me an email right away to confirm everything. The customer service I got was really amazing.
