Outdoorsy is the most convenient service where i can get what i am looking for without any hassle or problem
also they have really good team and customer support which works to help and solve things so the customer can enjoy their trip without getting tangled up with the other things
I used the service once by now but i am very surprised , they have so good coordination and they take care of everything
Outdoorsy helped me in making my road trip memorable and really smooth
Let me tell you about the HORRIBLE experience I just had with Ourdoorsy. I rented an RV from a local owner, George Llard, order number 2082940, telephone (text only) number 720-513-4266, through Outdoorssy (real company?)
The owner told me I could pick up the RV but Outdoorsy gave me no option to click this preference so I messaged Outdoorsy. They DO NOT get back with you before 4-5 days and they DO NOT read the questions you send them. This was my experience. So I messaged them repeatedly.
Then I messaged George, He told me to call them with the order number so I did. No one answered. I have called Outdoorsy over 15 times and no one ever answers the phone. When they did message me (after another 4-5 days), they had not read my message and they wanted my contact information.
I gave it to them but the issue was never resolved. They took off the delivery fee but I asked them when I would know the address I was to pick up the vehicle from. They could not even give me a timeframe in which they would fill in this vital, yet missing information. Now, some would say "just wait, they'll get around to it before it is time to pick it up."
Here is my dilemna - they only gave me a certain amount of time to cancel and receive back my reservation money, the time for which would have expired if I had done it that way. Now, if a company is legitimate, would they not want to make their customer feel comfortable with a transaction? And, if they were not legitimate, might they treat their customer in this manner? You bet!
So, the owner cancelled my booking because I asked for the address to pick up. There is something rotten in all of this. I definifely would not recommend Outdoorsy, nor anyone who offers their RV through Outdoorsy.
5 night RV Rental
I won't bore you with all the details (just some of them). Suffice to say it was a complete nightmare in the days leading up to my reservation. I had to put my canine companion to sleep 2 days before I was due to pick up the van. That same day, the owner had written me that something (minor) wasn't working and since he couldn't fix it he was offering to cancel from his side so I wouldn't be dinged with fees. Too my dog to the vet. While going through that I decided it would be smart for me to accept his offer (no condition to be driving an unfamiliar vehicle). Got into email and he'd fixed it and therefore expected me to go ahead. I implored him MANY times. I talked to Customer Service. I MOST LIKELY wouldn't have even though about canceling until he mentioned it. But, since he'd fixed the problem, no dice. So, I went ahead and cancelled the reservation while following instructions on the phone with an agent. This morning (the day I was to pick up the van) I get a message that the vehicle is still awaiting me. Just went back to them and discovered to my horror that in my grief I hadn't pressed the right button to cancel. All I saw was that I'd get 1/2 back and stopped there.

Outdoorsy offered to help me get another RV but they never got back to me. Thank goodness I went ahead and started looking at other places to rent and found something at the last minute. I did get alI of my money back but it took 3 calls to Outdoorsy to make sure I did get all of my money back. I do not understand if I would have cancelled I would have had to pay a cancellation fee but with the owner backing out there is no financial consequences for the owner. I will never use Outdoorsy again. I will go back to the Cruise America.
