Recent stay at a hotel
I stayed at a hotel recently and I was really impressed with how clean and friendly it was. Even though the hotel wasn't brand new, it was in great shape and the rooms were cozy and tidy. The breakfast they served was decent and everything was well-organized. Their noise policy really worked because I didn't have any issues during my three-day stay. I have to say, I was super impressed with the hotel and how well it was run.
Recent Best Western stays
I stayed at three different hotels from the same chain for about 2 weeks. I was really disappointed with two of them, especially the ones in Junction, TX and Tucson, AZ. The staff at both places were not helpful at all and sometimes even rude. I also had a lot of issues with maintenance during my stay. The third hotel was decent, nothing great but also not terrible. When I gave feedback to the chain, Junction owned up to their mistakes and apologized, but Tucson tried to blame me. And to top it off, I missed out on earning rewards points for one night. On the other hand, I stayed at two Choice Hotel properties during the same time, and they were great. Because of how badly Best Western managed these properties and how poorly I was treated, I won't be staying with them again.
Hotel Stay Experience
During my last stay at the hotel, everything was great. The room was clean, cozy, and safe, just like they said it would be. I had a really good time, all thanks to the amazing help I got from Irvin and Jeremy at the front desk. When my phone died on me and I was stuck without a way to communicate or get a ride, Irvin went out of his way to help. He let me use his own phone to figure things out and make sure I could get back home. Their kindness and willingness to help me really made a huge difference.
Late dinner and bad condition
I went to this place multiple times to order dinner, but every time they gave me late and bad food. The naans were barely cooked, and the spoon was broken. I called the receptionist, but he wouldn't come see me. I had to take the dinner over to his area myself. He didn't even listen to my complaint. It was the worst experience I've ever had!
Hotel stay
I stayed at a hotel not too long ago and the outside area was nice, but my room definitely needed some sprucing up. The WiFi worked fine, but man, breakfast was a whole different story. There was a homeless lady there hogging multiple plates of food and making a scene when staff asked if she was a guest. It created a super awkward vibe and totally ruined my meal.
Gross hotel experience
The room was seriously gross, I'm talking horror movie levels of nasty. The bed looked like it had already been slept in, the bathroom radiator was leaking and there was a huge puddle on the floor. The carpets were filthy and the walls were all damp. They didn't even have cups for the tea tray! And as if that wasn't enough, the staff didn't seem to give a darn. All they offered me was a measly £15 refund. I mean, come on! I showed them pictures of how disgusting the room was, but they just brushed it off and said they couldn't help because they're a franchise. What a total joke!
Stayed in Bar Hill, Cambridge
We had a blast hanging out in Cambridge with the fam! Such a chill spot for a weekend escape. The room was so clean and fancy, and the staff was super nice and on top of everything. Shoutout to Chris and Karina for the delicious breakfast and dinner both nights. Already looking forward to going back again!
Stay for Eschborn cycling race
The hotel was great, especially because they allowed me to check out at 12:00 pm at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will book again if I'm ever in the area.
Stayed at hotel in Galena, IL
I stayed in a room at the Roman palace and accidentally hit my head. The hot tub wasn't staying hot, so I chatted with the manager. They kindly switched me to an Oriental suite room. But unfortunately, the hot tub still didn't have cold water.
Reward Points Management
I had this one rewards program experience that really got on my nerves. It was a real headache trying to keep track of my points and see where I stood with the whole thing. Unlike other programs I've been a part of, I couldn't easily tell when my points would expire or even see how many I had in total. That lack of straight-up info made it a real pain to figure out how to make the most of my rewards. When it comes to rewards, I like things to be clear and easy to manage as a customer. This program definitely didn't cut it in that department.
Stay at not good hotel
Man, let me tell you, that hotel was a total disaster. The lobby was a mess and the stairs were all beat up. I swear there were a million stairs to climb and hardly any elevators. By the time I finally made it to my room, I was huffing and puffing like crazy. And then, to top it all off, the shower didn't work! They tried fixing it, but it was still busted. On top of that, there were painters outside my room, stinking up the place without any heads up. The food options were nasty, so I skipped dinner altogether. And don't even get me started on the state of the building itself, looked like it was gonna collapse any minute. But I gotta admit, the only silver lining was the staff (except for the manager) and the breakfast with some fresh fruit.
Suite reservation
I reserved a suite at this hotel, ya know? It had a fridge but no microwave, which kinda sucked. Plus, the heater wasn't working, so we were freezing all night! The phone in the room was broken, and the TV didn't even work. We tried to change rooms, but they were all booked up. We only stayed one night and didn't even get a refund, just an apology. Not cool, dude.
Stay at hotel
My stay at the hotel in Burkburnett, Texas was awesome! The bed was super comfy and the room was always clean. The staff and management were top-notch, especially Amy and Rose who were really nice and professional. The breakfast was tasty, and the staff making it were so attentive and really wanted to make sure guests had a great experience. My sister and I already booked a room there for August, wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else. The staff, rooms, and prices were all great. Thanks for an amazing stay!
Hotel stay
I stayed at a hotel not too long ago and for the most part, it was okay. But there was a problem with the bathroom that really bothered me. The toilet in my room was way too low, which made it really uncomfortable to use. I thought about how difficult it must be for older guests or people with mobility issues. When I mentioned it to the person at the front desk, they said they knew about it and would fix it during the next renovation. It was frustrating to hear that such an important issue had been ignored for so long.
Anniversary dinner at a fancy hotel
My parents brought me along to this fancy hotel for their 25th anniversary dinner, and it was amazing! The staff was really friendly, the food was delicious, and the whole place was just so beautiful. I definitely want to stay there next time!
Unpleasant stay due to barking dogs
I was recently at a hotel where the room next to mine had these two huge dogs that were barking away all day without anyone watching them. I told the front desk about it multiple times, but they didn't do anything to fix the problem. It was just so noisy and ruined my whole stay. The fact that the staff didn't do anything and didn't care about how uncomfortable we were was really disappointing. It's just sad to see such bad customer service in a place that's supposed to be all about hospitality. This whole situation has really changed my opinion, and I don't think I'll be coming back to this hotel in the future.
Warm welcome, friendly staff, cozy hotel, pleasant restaurant and breakfast
The folks at this cute inn in Meung-sur-Loire gave us such a nice welcome, which felt really nice. The food at the restaurant and breakfast were both good, and the vibe there was super cozy. We totally suggest staying here to others. - Mr. and Mrs. Bazin Loic, room 106
Four-day stay at a hotel in Stephenville, TX
I just got back from a four-day stay at a hotel in Stephenville, TX and let me tell you, it was a pleasant surprise. The room was super clean and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The staff was so nice and made me feel right at home. And don't even get me started on the breakfast - it was delicious! I'll definitely be going back and I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy spot to crash.
Stayed at cool hotels
I gotta tell ya, the hotels I've stayed at were seriously amazing. They were all family-owned businesses, not those big corporate chains. It felt good knowing my money was going to support local folks who bust their butts to give guests a fantastic experience. I believe it's crucial to back small businesses, especially during hard economic times. You guys are doing awesome, so keep it up!
