is it MSI or Click-to-Run? I was told C2R. That’s why I ordered. When the download arrived it was an ISO for the MSI installer. The license key was for volume MSI too. My laptop already has other Office stuff installed via C2R, so the MSI copy simply won’t work alongside it. I tried to contact support again and said I’d return it, but then nothing. The screenshot I took shows the install error clearly. Small positive: delivery was fast and the download worked. Still, the wrong installer and the incorrect info from support made the purchase useless for me. Kind of annoying, honestly.
Finally sorted, but support was awful
I got the Office install back, but it took more effort than it should have. I bought MS Office from Software King because I needed it for remote work and a deadline; months later my PC acted up and I had to restore it, which wiped the program. The download link they sent me no longer worked. I emailed their sales contact three times — there's no separate support email — and heard nothing. I found one phone number online, called, ended up in some sort of conference line where I was apparently the only caller, and sat on hold for about 12 minutes with no answer. After pestering for a week I finally got a reply and a working link. Relieved it worked out, but support needs serious improvement.
