Misleading claims, proceed with caution April 21, 2026

the product does not actually remove your data the way the ads say. I bought it because I’d been trying to clean up online exposure after a data leak and a prior run-in with identity fraud, so I needed something that worked end-to-end. The reason I’m saying this up front is simple — the marketing promises complete removal, but what you get is a guided workflow that scans only a handful of sites and files removal requests on your behalf. That’s helpful, sure, but it’s not the same as removal. The app will tell you “zero occurrences” or mark items as removed even when the entries are still live or the requests are just pending. So you end up having to chase companies, verify receipts, and keep tracking status yourself — exactly what the ads gloss over. I did appreciate that it at least automates some submissions; that saved time, and I’m a bit relieved about that. Still, the interface and the promotional copy are misleading. I’ve got screenshots showing pending requests and live listings, if anyone wants proof. Bottom line: useful as a tool, not as a cure-all, and not worth the advertising hype.
