I spotted this on Instagram and even tipped my running buddy to try it. Delivery took nearly two weeks, box was trashed and the item dented. I emailed customer service and got radio silence. I was skeptical but it still works well enough, oddly.
Finally some closure, kind of
“it should start moving soon.” No real details. Calling FedEx was actually useful — they told me Direct Running hadn’t given the paperwork they needed. That was annoying but also oddly helpful to hear from someone who knew the problem. After multiple promises from the seller that it was “taken care of,” nothing changed for five days. Eventually Direct Running emailed saying the carrier couldn’t complete delivery and they would issue a refund. That was the turning point — not ideal, but honest. I was surprised they did decide to refund rather than keep dragging it out. Then the refund stalled because of a bank technical issue, which was frustrating, and I had to chase them a few more times. Overall, the buying experience was clumsy: slow updates, conflicting info, and a lot of back-and-forth. The one redeeming thing was when they finally admitted the paperwork problem and acted to refund me — that’s when I felt satisfied enough to stop arguing. Would I order again? Not without a lot more assurance about shipping to the US.
Love the shades, hate the maze
Bought my Bliz Fusions after seeing my buddy wear them at a local bike race; I thought, gotta have those. The lenses are great — really sharp — but ordering in the U.S. is a pain, felt like a scavenger hunt. I got lucky once, then couldn't figure it out again. Annoying, but the shades are worth the trouble, I think.
Fit saved it, barely
the pieces fit like my normal US sizes, the fabric felt solid, and there weren’t any surprises. Still, the communication needs work (seriously, be clearer about sizing and reply properly). Also, price seemed fair and delivery was quick — so overall I wasn’t mad. My advice: measure first and don’t rely on the dropdown alone.
