    Almost didn't buy

    I almost didn't buy these bikes. I kept thinking they looked different. I had doubts about the forward pedaling and about how they'd fit into our weekend routine. We ride them around the neighborhood. We also take them camping a lot. Took them to the beach and, last May, to Yosemite. Rode around the valley every day for a week. That was when most doubts faded. The bikes are stable. Forward pedaling feels natural after a ride or two. People stopped to ask where we got them. They work for short trips and for hauling gear to the campsite. They're not perfect. A small adjustment here and there. Mostly, though, I'm glad we went for them.

I had it disassembled and shipped back the same week. That’s when the frustration began. For five weeks I chased a refund. Emails, calls, polite reminders. Nothing changed. I finally had to involve a lawyer to get my money back. That felt extreme, and it still feels weird saying it, because I like supporting small businesses and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. They did eventually refund me after the lawyer stepped in, so I’m grateful it got resolved. But be prepared for delays and poor follow-up. My advice: double-check everything before order, keep all receipts, and be ready to push. If they improve their communication this could be fine. I would buy again only with clearer guarantees.

    Weekend buy, shaky follow-through

    the rear tire was flat, a bolt on the foot pad was straight-up missing, and there was a loose bolt just chillin’ in the bottom of the box — zero idea where that belonged. The front wheel had been slapped on weirdly too; the bike makes this odd grinding/whirring noise when you roll it that I wouldn’t expect from something brand new. I reached out to customer service, sent photos and video, and then got stuck waiting and having to follow up multiple times — super slow reply, very little help. One surprising bit: once I aired the tire and tightened the footpad temporarily, it actually rode nicer than the assembly suggested, the motor felt smooth, which made the whole QC lapse feel even more disappointing. Bottom line — the product has potential but their quality control and follow-up left me doing the troubleshooting they should’ve handled.

    Two good rides, lots of tinkering

    after the upgrades they ride like entirely different bikes — quieter, stiffer, nicer. I do love that. Still, between the repeated replacements and the hunt for parts, I wish the original build had been a bit more robust. Right now we’re looking into third-party battery conversions. Might be the fix, might be more work. Either way, they’re fun once fixed up.

If you don’t mind a possible delay and spotty support, you might be fine. If you need something dependable on schedule, I’d be cautious. Overall a mixed bag — product quality good, company follow-through not so much.

    Almost a win, but not for us

I bought the trike for my husband so he could do quick neighborhood runs and pop to the corner store without wrestling a full bike. The idea was perfect — easy on-and-off, stable for short errands, looked neat. But the brakes barely gripped; you squeeze and it felt like nothing happened. That’s the dealbreaker for me, so we took it to a local shop and the mechanic confirmed it needed repair and maybe warranty coverage. We reached out to the company right away and then the slow-motion support circus began. Their usual reply is “check the website,” which is fine if you can actually get someone to respond. Emails took forever — one apparently sat in their spam for nearly three weeks — and live chat would say an email was sent that never arrived. I spent ages checking every folder, even trash. After a couple weeks of waiting, calls that went to voicemail, repeated chats, and a negative review just to get their attention, we decided to return it while still in the trial window. The first step went fine — confirmation email asking us to wait for instructions — then silence. I’ve done returns before, this was different: promised instructions never appeared, and when someone finally replied they asked why I wanted to return and said I needed approval. Which we already knew. It felt like a loop designed to stall. So the product itself? Good idea, comfortable, useful for grocery runs and quick rides around the block — that part I liked. The rest — brakes, warranty responsiveness, and the whole back-and-forth — ruined the experience. I’m telling you straight: there are small wins here, but if you expect fast, reliable customer service and guaranteed returns, this might frustrate you. We ended up returning it, but man, wish the support had been less of a headache.

    Pretty bike, mixed feelings

    smooth on paved trails, comfy upright posture, and people always comment on how it looks. Me and the kids would do short outings, nothing crazy — under ten miles, mostly flat paths, real casual family stuff. It feels nice to ride, the seat and grips are comfy, and getting on it makes me want to go out and cruise. So I was happy, really.
    But then the reality check: after a couple of years of light use, little things started to show. The front fender brace snapped while I was riding on the side of the road, which was... terrifying. The fender came loose and shoved me toward traffic — a driver saw it and stopped, and honestly I’m so grateful for that person. It could’ve ended so much worse. After that I fought with customer support to get a replacement part and that was a pain. They couldn’t tell me when they’d have it, I had to order through them eventually, and the part didn’t fit cleanly (screws too big, ended up jury-rigging it). Then the fender started rubbing, so I took it off, and while fiddling with the front brake I broke the thin aluminum noodle that links the brake arms. Brake basically useless then — scary and annoying.
    There are other small things: handlebars creep out of line with the front wheel if you lean on them, and they’ll sag a bit if you put weight on them. So you learn to ride differently, don’t rest your weight on the bars. All that said, the bike still looks great and rides nicely when everything’s working. I’ve had many pleasant, lazy rides on it and I’m kind of glad it made those memories — and very relieved nothing worse happened during that fender incident. Bottom line: fun to ride and comfy, but build quality of some parts is questionable. If you get one, inspect the fender/brake bits, and be ready to tinker or swap parts sooner than you’d hope. I’m thankful for the good rides and for ending up safe, even if I’m headed for a replacement after three years of light use.

    Gas motor bicycle, fun modification

    The bike I got from this company is pretty good for the price. The paint job is nice, and I like that it's not too heavy. I thought it would be fun to attach a small gas motor (like a 1 hp weed trimmer) to the front tire for some extra speed. Right now, I'm cruising at about 5 mph, but I'm working on switching out the gear to see if I can go faster, maybe around 10 mph.
