By the time we finally reached Cochin, it honestly felt like our family had spent a whole extra trip inside airports. We were flying from London through Mumbai on June 12, and this journey was especially important because I needed to attend my father’s post-cremation ceremonies in Kerala. So yes, every delay hit a little harder than it normally would.
A rough connection, but the flight itself was fine
By the time I got to Dubai, I was already running on very little sleep, so maybe I was less patient than usual, but the connection process was honestly confusing and unnecessarily stressful. A coworker had suggested Air India for my trip from Orlando to Chennai, since the schedule worked well for visiting family, and I thought it was worth trying. The actual flight experience was decent enough. Seats felt average, nothing special, but I was able to rest a little and the cabin crew on the flight were okay.
