    Caught myself checking my bank app after they took the monthly trip payment. I use them for weekend getaways — booking's easy, reminders pop up and it fits budget juggling. Annoyingly there's an admin charge when they take the money from my card, which I didn't expect. If I pay manually there's no fee, so I try to pay before they pull it. Kinda annoying but okay.

I’ve used other companies who at least pick up or reply same day, so this was a shock. Oddly, the chat eventually spat out a useful link with pricing — unexpectedly helpful — but still, it shouldn’t be hard. Can someone call or email me the cost and what cancelling involves? I’d pay to skip the hassle.

    I was halfway through packing when it hit me — this was the easiest vacation booking I'd had in years. They had cheap options and nicer hotels too, clear add-ons like checked bags, and flexible payment choices (installments or pay all at once). The final price ended up lower than other sites I checked, so I was honestly glad it worked out and I’ll keep using them.

    Transfer headache at Krakow

    I didn't jump at the private transfer — a friend had recommended Sunshine Transfers and the price looked decent, but I was worried about airport queues and drivers' one-hour wait rules. Sure enough, passport control at Krakow took almost two hours. The driver called saying he couldn't wait past his hour, so we ended up taking an Uber (in a country we barely knew) even though we'd already paid extra. I called the helpline and they couldn't send anyone else. They later called back, apologized and said they'd look into it, which softened it a bit, but it still spoiled the start of our trip. I'll book again only with a backup.

    When we finally made it to Venice

    we effectively lost a full day despite paying a premium to avoid exactly that. There was no apology, no offer to help, zero flexibility. At first I was boiling, pacing the living room, imagining the whole thing unraveling. Then on day two — actually, halfway through the first real dinner in Venice — I realized something small and almost ridiculous: I was smiling. We were on a rickety little boat, wedged between two canals, and the city did its thing. That’s the moment I knew I was satisfied, oddly enough. Not with the company, but with our decision to go anyway and make the most of the time we had left.
    So yeah, the airline/agency handled the change badly — customer service felt absent and stingy — but the trip itself still gave us what we wanted. If you’re booking something short and special like this, maybe don’t count on their flexibility.

    Almost didn't book, glad I did

    calm agent, patient, actually listened (which feels rare). I had doubts about hidden fees and swapping hotels, but the agent explained the options and possible costs clearly, and even chased the supplier when the hotel kept silent. The problem isn't solved yet — that's on the hotel — but the rep kept me updated and didn't promise anything she couldn't deliver. Small surprise: she personally contacted the supplier, which helped calm me down. One thing I'd change is a phone line for folks who struggle with chat. Still, live chat was quick and easy overall, so I feel treated fairly.
