membership team kept in touch right up until the cancellation window closed, then they went quiet. When I reported the leak and the bad smell in the bathroom (sulfur-ish), responses were slow and vague, and housekeeping missed things — saw bugs once. Low-key annoyed — it's more hassle than value, honestly. I told a buddy to hold off buying the membership.
Sketchy start, worked out
Overall, I'd call it a mixed bag — started off sketchy but ended up usable. I hired them a couple months ago and at first the site and promises felt legit, then some promised extras and paperwork seemed to vanish right before the final handoff. I was annoyed and a little worried about legal options since they're Mexico-based. Still, after pushing a bit I got what I needed; not great process, but it worked in the end.
Sun, music, and a frustrating closet surprise
keep them in the safe or bring a sturdy travel box. There were plenty of other places they could have put those pillows in the room — not inside a closet on top of delicate stuff. All in all, the location and event vibe were great, and friends had fun, but this mishap put a damper on the memory a bit. I’d go back only if I felt confident housekeeping policies were clear and management actually owned up to mistakes. For now, consider this a cautionary tale — enjoy the resort, but protect your fancy things.
