Jeep rental experience
The check-in process was pretty easy, and the guy there suggested I add my own car insurance to save some cash. I already had full coverage, but he said I'd get money back. I showed him my insurance on an app, but never got that refund. The guy at the counter was a little hard to follow and seemed a little off. Despite that, we were stoked to get a Jeep for our rental - it was like a dream! The car did great on our trip, especially in the mountains. Checking in was quick, and the shuttles to and from the airport were nice, with friendly drivers.
Budget-friendly AAA Travel alternative
I was really surprised by how much I saved booking with this company instead of AAA Travel. Their prices were way better for the same car on the same day. At first, I wasn't sure about booking with a smaller company, but I'm really happy I did. The booking process was simple and quick, and I got confirmation right away. It's really important to be careful when you're dealing with certain companies because some of them don't keep their word about giving back deposits. It's just sad that some companies choose to cheat their customers by keeping their deposits. We really have to watch out for these dishonest companies to keep ourselves safe from any financial trouble.

Car rental disaster
I had the worst time with my car rental! I paid for insurance in advance, but when I got to the counter to get my car, they wanted an extra 1,400 euros! It was a total surprise and I had to go through the trouble of finding another rental company. My bank person said that this company pulls this on folks all the time, and their contracts have all sorts of tricky fine print. Now I have to deal with the Ombudsman to try and get my money back. Avoid this company like the plague!

I thought the service was great and really user-friendly. Renting a car was super easy and I liked how convenient it was. But I was kind of bummed that there wasn't much help available for dealing with rental car agents if something sketchy came up. It would've been nice to have more support for handling any problems that might pop up during the rental.

I found the website on Google, saw that the price was good after just a minute of searching, and booked it in a total of 3 minutes.
SCAM! It’s not free cancellation.
I booked a car and the site said FREE cancellation, Book with confidence! You’ll get a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the pickup. No worries, no hassle.
I canceled an hour later, and they told me that they can only give me a voucher for future booking but if I want my money back, they will charge me $65, and the rest of the balance will be returned in 21 business days.
I don’t think this means FREE cancellation... you’ll get a full refund.Payment in Euros?
I mean, seriously? Why am I paying in Euros when I live in Australia and renting a car here? It just doesn't make any sense to me. Can't I just pay with Australian dollars? It's not that complicated, right?
Car rental booking experience
My recent experience renting a car through this platform was really disappointing. I booked a car on their website because they said I could cancel for free. But then I found out the rental company I booked with wasn't good enough for me, so I wanted to cancel. Turns out, the "free" cancellation was just a credit for a future booking, which they didn't explain when I booked. I felt like they were trying to trick me, and it didn't seem right. Now I'm not sure if I want to use this platform again, and I definitely wouldn't suggest it to anyone else after what happened to me.
