I came across EconomyBookings when I was looking for rental cars online. I was drawn in by their affordable prices and user-friendly website. But I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant because of some not-so-great reviews I saw. Despite my doubts, I took a leap of faith and reserved a car for my upcoming journey.
Called for more info
I tried to call to ask some questions, but the person on the phone was talking really fast with an accent that made it tough to understand what they were saying. It was so frustrating, and I ended up not getting any help.

I really liked how simple it was to book my rental car! There was a ton of info about the car and the rental terms, which helped me a lot in making my decision. Everything went smoothly and I'm thrilled with how it all turned out. I definitely suggest using this service for your rental car needs!
Car rental disaster
I had the worst time with my car rental! I paid for insurance in advance, but when I got to the counter to get my car, they wanted an extra 1,400 euros! It was a total surprise and I had to go through the trouble of finding another rental company. My bank person said that this company pulls this on folks all the time, and their contracts have all sorts of tricky fine print. Now I have to deal with the Ombudsman to try and get my money back. Avoid this company like the plague!

I gotta give Darrin props for his fast service when we dropped off the car. He got us in and out super quick, less than 5 minutes. He even gave us some tips to save money on our next rental. It's rare to find someone so efficient and helpful, so big shoutout to him for really going above and beyond.

I booked a car and the site said FREE cancellation, Book with confidence! You’ll get a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the pickup. No worries, no hassle.
I canceled an hour later, and they told me that they can only give me a voucher for future booking but if I want my money back, they will charge me $65, and the rest of the balance will be returned in 21 business days.

I rented a car from a car rental company at Malaga airport not too long ago. When I checked in, they sent me an email with photos of any scratches or marks on the car, so I could look it over before leaving. When I returned the car, it only took 5 minutes for them to check it and they sent me an email confirming everything was okay. It was a really easy and quick process and the price was good too.

But, surprise surprise, the rental car place said they never got the payment from the site. Now I've been charged double for the same thing. It's really frustrating to deal with this kind of dishonesty and lack of responsibility from a company.
Payment in Euros?
I mean, seriously? Why am I paying in Euros when I live in Australia and renting a car here? It just doesn't make any sense to me. Can't I just pay with Australian dollars? It's not that complicated, right?
