hostel booking
The best hostel booking platform period.
I love backpacking and Hostelworld has helped me save a lot during my travels. First of all, booking on their online platform is fast and efficient. They have many options to choose from, no matter the country I'm traveling to. The available hostels are super clean, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. So, far I've been to twenty countries and booked for hostels using Hostelworld - no complaints. Hostelworld customer service is transparent, readily available, always a pleasure to deal with. I really loved using the app to meet other solo travelers and make connections with people who have similar interests while I was on my trips. The interface was easy to use and I didn't have any issues figuring out how to use all the different features. The app gave me super helpful info on where to stay, things to do, and what events were happening in the area. I definitely suggest this app to any solo traveler who wants to make their trip even better and meet some cool new folks.
Clean and quiet hostel with comfortable beds and great atmosphere
I stayed at this hostel recently and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet the room was. Unlike some other hostels nearby, I actually got some decent shut-eye without any noise bothering me. The bed was a tad small for me, being pretty tall, but all in all, everything was well-kept. The vibe at the bar was awesome, with super friendly and helpful staff. The live music really topped off my stay and made it even more enjoyable.
Accommodation search on a budget
Hostelworld is awesome for finding cheap places to stay. I usually go for private rooms at guesthouses that also offer dorms and I've never been let down. The reviews and pictures are spot on, and I've snagged some great deals on high-quality hotels. Plus, most places are in super convenient spots for tourists. Just booked a room in Ha Noi and scored a killer deal in Hanoi's Old Town.
Specific dates are a must
When I booked my hostel stay using this website, I thought it was really easy to use. But one thing I noticed is that if you're not sure about your dates yet, it might be a little annoying because some hostels might not pop up in the search results if they don't match up with your chosen dates.
Super easy website
This website is awesome! It's super easy to find all the info I need about hostels and I can even reach out to them right on the site. So far, I haven't had any problems, but if I do, I know I can get help there.

This website really saved my trip planning! I've had to switch up my bookings a few times and they made it super easy. My stay in a nutshell
I recently stayed at this place and it was amazing! The location was spot on, close to everything I needed in the city. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Mihael who really went out of his way to help me during my stay. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting this city; you won't regret it!

Booking trouble, charged without confirmation
I tried to book a hostel for 4 nights using the mobile app, but the reservation didn't show up in my account. Despite this, they still charged me. I wanted to cancel to avoid problems when I got there, but the cancellation wouldn't go through. The customer service advice was no help and just made me frustrated. When I called Hostelworld, the voicemail said they weren't available because of Covid, which seemed like a bad excuse. I'm done with this company after this experience.
Booking experience
The booking process went pretty smoothly, but I ran into a big problem with the hostel I stayed at. In the fine print, it said guests couldn't access their rooms from 11 AM to 4 PM, which wasn't mentioned before I booked. It was really annoying, especially considering how much I paid for my stay in Paris during the Olympics.
