Walking through my recent bills, I realized the whole tariff picture is awkward to use. The online account shows a tidy forecast but the numbers feel opaque — standing charge versus unit cost are shuffled so you can't easily run your own annual calc. That makes the service feel like it's hiding effort, even if the meter readings and payments work fine. I've had clearer billing with smaller suppliers, where totals and per-kWh rates were side-by-side. My balance is high, which skews the projected costs, so take their outlooks with a grain of salt. It's functional but not straightforward.
