Business electricity purchase
I just bought my business electricity from a broker and I'm super happy with the service. They hooked me up with a fixed rate of 8 cents, which is lower than what my neighbors are paying. I definitely suggest going through a broker for an easier time.
Electric service signup
I signed up for electric service and it was so easy! Tarendeep and Jose were amazing at helping me out and understanding my English. It was seriously the best thing ever and I was really happy with the service.
Misleading pricing
My experience with Direct Energy was a total letdown. I started off with a specific rate, but over time my bills just kept going up for no apparent reason. And when I called customer service to ask about it, they just blamed it all on the delivery rates from CenterPoint, even though there was already a big charge from CenterPoint on my bill. It seemed like they were trying to pull a fast one by constantly upping my rate and tacking on extra fees with no real reason. I'd recommend avoiding this company to anyone else.
Issue with account
I've been dealing with a big issue on my account for months now. I've tried reaching out to several reps, but my phone number is still linked to an account that isn't mine. I keep getting messages about a balance that isn't mine. Dealing with customer service has been a pain and hasn't helped at all. It's making me think twice about dealing with this company in the future.
Unprofessional service
My experience with this company was really frustrating. I was trying to deal with a big problem with my account, but the people I talked to didn't seem to know how to help me. It was pretty obvious that they were in different countries, like Mexico, and didn't really know the company's policies. To make things even worse, my account number got changed without them telling me, which just added to the confusion and stress. Even though I've been a loyal customer for more than 25 years, I was left to figure out the mess all by myself. The lack of communication and professionalism from the company was really disappointing.
Overcharging for transmission/distribution fees
DirectEnergy really tried to pull a fast one on me by overcharging for transmission/distribution fees under the guise of holiday season pipeline maintenance. I did my research and found out that other companies don't do this kind of thing, so it seems like DirectEnergy was just trying to scam me out of some extra cash. Not only that, they also got rid of budget billing for low-income folks, pushing everyone into their "Average Billing" scheme where they decide how much to take from your bill, ultimately leading to higher charges. I made the switch to Enmax/Encorp and they were straightforward with their charges, no unnecessary fees.
High Rates
I've been with this company for about ten years now, and let me tell you, it's been one of the worst experiences I've had with an energy provider. The prices they charge for electricity and natural gas are just outrageous. They tack on all these extra fees that really add up over the year. I only recently realized how much money I've thrown away by sticking with them. And on top of that, they make it so confusing to figure out what you're actually paying for by burying everything in the bill. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company if you want to save some cash and actually understand what you're getting charged for on your energy bills.
Energy services
I'm really frustrated with how this company is handling things. They haven't been honest or transparent with me at all. They didn't give me the right info about what they offer, and they've been charging me even though I'm not using their services anymore.
Electricity account setup
Setting up an electricity account with Direct Energy was a complete nightmare. I kept getting stuck on their website, which forced me to make a new account every time I wanted to add electricity to my gas account. It took me 3 long months of getting rejected, spending hours on the phone, and repeating the same steps over and over. Eventually, I just threw in the towel and switched to a different provider. Direct Energy seriously needs to get it together because their lack of organization and communication makes them one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with.
My power sucks
Man, those power companies are just greedy! They'll do anything to squeeze more money out of you when you're trying to switch providers. Better watch out and steer clear if you want to keep your wallet happy in today's costly times.
Average billing disappointment
My experience with average billing has been a total nightmare. My bill ended up doubling, but I didn't even use any more energy than usual. Then, when they tried to process three credit card payments all on the same day, it caused a bunch of problems with my bank. It's been so frustrating and expensive dealing with all of this.
Payment issue
I had such a frustrating time trying to set up autopay or pay my bill online. It took forever to get everything sorted out over the phone. The customer service was absolutely terrible, and I ended up wasting a whole 2 hours of my life just trying to pay my bill.
Misleading sales tactics
The folks at Direct Energy told me they could give me a better deal than my current provider, but it didn't turn out that way. I got charged for both services when I made the switch. When I called customer service about the mix-up, they weren't sorry at all and just kept saying I agreed to it. I'd advise steering clear of this company and doing your homework before signing up for anything.
energy services
I was seriously frustrated with my experience with that energy company. They hit me with a bunch of fees and kept raising their prices, but let me tell you, the service was absolute garbage!
Power and gas services
I had a horrible experience with my bill - so many unexpected charges made it way too high. And to top it off, the service itself is super unreliable and they don't even communicate well.
Energy bill fiasco
This company said they wouldn't charge me a delivery fee for 0GJ of energy consumption, but then they went ahead and sent my balance to a collection agency! Isn't that insane? I thought I was all good with no delivery fee, and now I'm stuck dealing with this collection mess. It's just not right, you know?
Tedious account set up
Setting up electricity service was such a hassle. I was on the phone forever and ended up with multiple accounts for the same address. It took talking to nine different people before I was able to schedule a start date, and then I got an email with a totally different date. What a mess!
Gas bill overcharging
This is outrageous! I can't believe the nerve of this company, sending two bills for the same service in one month. It's clearly a scam and I won't put up with it. And on top of that, they're charging a whopping $457.49 for a gas bill for a house. It's just pure greed and I won't stand for it.
really good
When my buddies and i started our small business, we had this whole issue of where to invest our money for buying the energy for our workplace. the options we had were too expensive and at that time we didn't have too much capital either. So we decided to go for companies who are supplying energy to small companies specially. After looking for different options , we found this one and it was awesome at first glance. we contacted the company and told them about our plans. they asked a few things and the work started
Thanks to this , we have successfully started our company and to the excellent customer support who guided us while working, it was really an amazing experience for us and also saved our capital.
