arrived sooner than the tracking said and everything was neatly packed, which I really appreciate when I'm juggling mornings and meetings. Where it got messy was the returns and support. Long story short, I bought two of the same item after a price drop and returned the first one, but the refund mix-up meant the cheaper one got refunded instead. I spent a few back-and-forths explaining the same thing over and over — their first replies felt like copy-paste and I had to repeat details in every single message. After a while they confirmed they'd received the return and would refund me correctly, but days passed. I left a review elsewhere and that finally nudged them to ask for the item code; odd but ok, I sent it. Eventually they sorted the price difference and refunded properly, which was a relief. Along the way I hit a weird block in my account that prevented a second return because a return request appeared in my profile that I didn't start — frustrating, and I did have to chase them for photos and codes before things moved. All that said, the product itself is great for daily wear — soft, holds up in the wash, and I actually reached for it more than I expected. Customer service could be faster and less repetitive, but they did fix it in the end. Delivery and ordering were smooth, and the clothes are worth the hassle for me; I’ll probably buy again, just with a little more patience and screenshots ready if a refund ever goes sideways.
Gift turned into a headache
I ordered a watch as a birthday present for my girlfriend and it went sideways. I’ve been buying from Yoox for years, so I didn’t expect drama, but the order status stayed stuck on “shipped” even while the seller and I were exchanging emails about it being lost. I asked to cancel when it was clear the timing was ruined and they told me cancellation wasn’t possible. Fine — then the package showed up while I was away. My neighbor took it in. I decided to refuse the delivery remotely, but the seller said I couldn’t refuse and had to accept and return it instead. That’s one point I want to underline: the back-and-forth on whether I could refuse or not was a real pain and felt unnecessary. It added time and confusion to an already late order.
I tried to return it right away. The box was poorly packed — tape coming loose and the original packaging re-wrapped with a flimsy white film — so I resealed it myself before sending it back. I never opened the inner packaging; witnesses saw the box sealed. Still, the seller later claimed the item was “completely damaged” and refused the return under their policy. PayPal got involved because I wasn’t getting answers. Only then did the seller respond, saying they wouldn’t supply a returns form and that I had to pay return shipping. I paid to send it back anyway, sent it the same way I received it, and provided proof that it was never opened. Yoox replied via PayPal saying the seller rejected the return because the item was damaged and that UPS returned the package to me at the seller’s expense. That explanation doesn’t line up with what I saw and with the sealed box witnesses can confirm. So now I’m left wondering whether the seller shipped a damaged item to start with, or is making up damage to avoid a refund.

Instead the sequence of mixed messages, delayed updates on the site, and the seller’s refusal or inconsistent stance on returns is what stands out. One negative detail to emphasize is the seller’s handling of the return claim — that single issue turned a simple gift purchase into a multi-week dispute involving PayPal and international shipping. I’m not asking for drama, just a clear refund, but getting there has been messy and slow. after nearly two decades of buying designer stuff and trying on the real thing in stores, these Valentino shades from Yoox just weren’t it. I bought them with a £100 voucher I’d earned for shopping and some patience — they were listed at £265, I paid £165 — so I figured, fine, treat yourself. I wear sunglasses every day: to run errands, on the drive to work, to hide the tiredness at the coffee shop. So I notice details. I notice weight, fit, how they sit on my nose. I notice everything, honestly.
Skinny jeans
I'm still on this sizing journey with Yoox! Got myself a pair of skinny jeans, super excited to try them on but when I did, the sizing was way off. It's frustrating, you know, like how can the sizes be so different in the same brand? Ended up having to return them because they were way too small for my size. The return policy isn't too bad, but just be ready for a little back and forth if you're dealing with some serious sizing issues on a "Final Sale" item. Kinda disappointing that they didn't fix the listing after probably lots of people returning for the same reason.
New clothes, good quality
I've been shopping at yoox for a while, and I gotta say, the clothes are awesome! The quality is really good, and I always feel stylish in my new outfits. I did have to return something once, and it was super easy.

I got some really awesome clothes that are great quality and weren't too expensive. But, it was a bit tough to find exactly what I was looking for because the website's filters weren't the greatest. They used to have a filter for sleeve length, but now it's disappeared. It would be really cool if they added a filter to help find matching items, like shirts and shorts that go together. Plus, the delivery is a bit expensive since there's only one option available.
Handbags purchase
The handbag selection at yoox was awesome! I finally found the bag I had been looking for everywhere. A lot of websites don't have bags from past seasons, but yoox did and the price was great. Ordering was super easy, shipping was fast, and the bag came with all the expected packaging, even the box. Online shopping can be iffy sometimes, but yoox really nailed it for me.
Jeans and a t-shirt
I recently bought some jeans and a t-shirt from yoox, and I have to say, I was really impressed with the way they did everything. Easy purchase, but poor quality shoes
Yoox is where I always go to hunt down my dream shoes, but I've gotta say, the quality is just not up to par. I've had several pairs that ended up damaged or falling apart after only a few times wearing them. It's a major bummer to finally find the perfect shoe, only to have it start falling apart on you so soon.
Alaia shoes
I've been shopping at this online store for a while now because they have a really great selection of stuff. But I've been having some issues with my recent orders that have been a letdown. I ordered two things that never showed up the way they were supposed to. For one order, I got a size 00 jacket instead of the size 0 I asked for. I tried to get some help from customer service, but they didn't really do anything to fix the problem, so I had to send it back. The last thing I bought was a pair of Alaia shoes as a gift for my boyfriend, and even though I got a discount for my birthday, I still had to shell out 550€. When the shoes arrived, I saw that the soles were scratched up on both sides, which makes me think they were someone else's return and not handled carefully on a soft surface.

I recently bought some stuff from yoox and man, they had so many clothes and shoes to choose from on their site – it was crazy!
