The price is not that different as compared to the market but it gives you access to get all kind of drinks. SO book for a party or for a date. Drizly is surely the best option in the online market.
There are huge range and lots of good brands, so from me , its a 100% recommendation. Also the delivery i safe and without going anywhere i get my drinks at my doorstep
TL;DR: They did not deliver. 2 bottles stated were in stock turned out to be out of stock. This was gift for out of state friend I wanted delivered on her BD. The whole thing was a mess. She got no gift, Drizly was no help.
Longer version: I ordered 2 bottles. Took me 2 hrs to place order to get everything to add up right to meet minimum but not spend too much and find the things I wanted in stock. Placed order and paid lots of fees on top. Signed up for emails in order to get $5 off order. For some reason, they only gave me $4.99 off order...no explanation. I texted my friend to stay home for the next hour because I'm sending her a gift and she has to be home. She texted back how excited she was. She had no idea what gift would be or where it was coming from. Later I went out for for the evening with friends here in my own state 2,000 miles away. Later my friend texts me that she got a text from an unknown business (she sent me a screenshot) that just said the items to be delivered to her were out of stock and she should call and choose substitute items. She asked what the business is and what I sent her. I said I'm out right now and I will take care of it later. I didn't want her to have to mess with it OR to order more expensive wine and not realize it would be charged to me. Apparently though, she had been stuck at home waiting all this time for the delivery, never realizing that no delivery was ever going to come. I got home and called the liquor store directly in my friend's city. Got a message machine so left a message. An hour later, I called again and someone answered. Woman said both bottles were out of stock. She said Drizly does this thing that if any item has been in stock during the last 5 years, they list it as "in stock" on their website, and have no method of actually checking stock. She said they had stopped delivering at 8pm, which it was now 1 min past. I ran down with her all the problems I had with how this whole thing was handled and she agreed. She made recommendations for substitution wines that would equal the $29.99 minimum, but they would not be delivered until Monday, 2 days later. She said I would have to go onto Drizly's website, cancel my order, then place a new order for the new wine she was recommending. It occurred to me later that I would not receive the new-email promotion for the 2nd order. I did realize that I would have to spend another hour of my time on this. She also mentioned after this long, long conversation of working all these issues out, right before we hung up, that BTW, Drizly is going to add another $2 to the price of each bottle over what she quoted me, so I could plan that it will cost $34 actually, not $30, before all the fees are added. So I just said thank you and silently decided I had been ... hard enough already, my friend had received no gift already, everything had been a disaster already, I had spent many hours of my time already, and I was done. I went into my Drizly account to cancel my order and found that it was already canceled. I checked all my emails and had never received any notification of this. This site is such a hassle. They have a great idea but are completely unprepared to execute it. Basically if they have no method for knowing what is in stock in the local store, then the entire system is a failure. If you are ordering for yourself and don't mind getting caught up in a very time consuming hassle, that's one thing, but if you are trying to order a gift, I advise you not to do this. This company is very bad. Oh another thing. I tried to contact them, and they made me click my reason (cancel order), and then denied me the ability to send an email to communicate further. Also, I posted this same review on Drizly’s own website and they removed it. I posted on 12/19/21 and it posted, but when I checked back it was gone, and as of 12/21/21, their most recent review showing is dated 7/31/20 and only positive reviews show there.
