Stinky lobster roll
So, I ordered a lobster roll thinking I'd treat myself, you know? But when I defrosted it, it was smelly and squishy. Really nasty and a big letdown! I did everything the instructions said, but it turned out to be a disaster. Maybe the lobsters are frozen in some sketchy country? Who knows. If you're from the Midwest and aren't used to good seafood, maybe you'd be okay with it. But for me, it was like eating trash.
Purchased 2lbs of cooked lobster meat
I bought 2 pounds of cooked lobster meat from this company, but I was really disappointed with what I got. Even though I put it in the freezer right away, when I tried to use it two months later, the lobster meat was yellow/green and had gone bad. It was obvious that the packaging was not done right, which caused the contamination. When I asked for a refund of nearly $200.00, customer service gave me mixed messages and in the end, I didn't get any help at all. This messed up my Christmas dinner and left me feeling really unsatisfied with the whole thing.
Lobster order gone wrong
So, I was all excited to have a lobster for my birthday back in December, but guess what? It never made it to my door! I was checking the tracking info every day, and it kept saying it would be there the next day. I reached out to them through email, and they offered to send me another lobster at half price, but that's still pretty pricey. I asked for a refund, but they turned me down. Talk about lousy business!
Buy 10 get 10 free lobster tails
I just bought a deal for 10 lobster tails and got 10 free from this company. When I got my package, I found out more than half of the lobster tails were spoiled. It was a bummer because I was gonna use them for a special holiday dinner. The company did give me a refund for the bad tails, but it couldn't really make up for the dinner disaster.
Overpriced, disappointing lobsters
I wouldn't recommend spending your money with this company. The lobsters tasted off, definitely not fresh from Maine. It seemed like they had been sitting there for days. And can we talk about the customer service? Terrible. Mark basically brushed off my complaints and tried to make it seem like it was my fault. Don't bother with them, go to a trusted seafood place instead.
Small Lobsters and Tails
I made the mistake of ordering from this place three times, thinking I was getting a great deal on some fancy lobster and tails. Turns out, each time the lobsters and tails were way smaller than they were supposed to be. The first time, I didn't bother checking the weight on the 1.1-1.2lb lobsters because I trusted they would be accurate for the price. The second shipment was even worse - the 5-6 oz. tails I ordered were closer to 3 oz. on two different scales. When I reached out to customer service, they just gave me a generic response asking me to weigh the lobsters and tails myself and send them a picture for proof. The third shipment was also disappointing, with the live lobsters consistently below the advertised weight. After looking at more reviews, it's obvious this company is always shortchanging their customers and making them prove it. Save your cash and shop somewhere else that values honesty and quality.
Lobster tails, whoopie pies, lobster bisque
I was so let down with my order I got recently. The two lobster tails I got looked weird, the whoopie pies were all smashed up in the bottom of the box, and the lobster bisque didn't even have lobster in it. Can you believe that? Lobster Bisque with no lobster? And it wasn't cheap either. I can't believe they wouldn't make it right or give me a refund for the crappy stuff they sent me.
My spoiled lobster
So, I ordered this lobster from them and it was just disgusting. I took a bite and almost threw up. I sent them an email to let them know and they were so rude to me. I mean, come on, all I wanted was a decent lobster! Definitely not going to order from them ever again, ugh.
Lobster tail purchase, delivery issue
I ordered lobster tails from this company for a special event, but they ended up going to the wrong address. Dealing with their unhelpful and rude customer service to fix the problem was super frustrating. When things go wrong, customers should always get the support and help they deserve.
Overpriced, muddy-tasting lobster
I recently bought a couple of three-pound lobsters from this place, thinking I was in for a tasty treat. But man, was I let down by the quality. Those lobsters had this weird, earthy taste that just killed the whole meal for me. Did some digging and found out those poor lobsters were chillin' in less-than-great conditions before they were sold, messing with their flavor. The tamale was absolute garbage, and overall, it was a total waste of cash.
Misleading sale
I was so pumped to snag that deal for "Buy 4 large get 4 free," but man, was I let down by those lobsters. Out of the eight I got, only two were big like they were supposed to be. And to make it worse, one of them had some funky green stuff in it. The rest were puny, only about 4 ounces instead of the 6 to 8 ounces they promised. Ended up having to rush to Costco last minute to get more for my holiday dinner party so I wouldn't be embarrassed. I was a satisfied customer last year, but this time around was a huge disappointment. Not gonna give them another shot.
