take good photos before you accept and ask them to confirm the return steps in writing. Also, fix your quality checks on the lids — it would save everyone the headaches. I’m disappointed, but I still like the look of the jug. Frustrating end to what started out well.
Copper jug, wooden lid, and a saga
the jug was fine, but the wooden lid was... rough. Like way more knots and these little dark streaks that made it look unfinished, kind of tacky next to the nice metal. I rang customer service because who wants a lid that ruins the whole vibe? Delivery was actually quick and the packing did its job, so points there. The customer service part turned into a comedy-tragedy: at first someone (Lee) told me not to bother sending anything back, that they'd just send a replacement and I could keep the original. Sweet relief. Then an email arrived saying nope, I had to fill out forms, deal with customs references, and mail the jug back at my own cost before they’d do anything. It felt like I signed up for an extra job. After going back and forth I got a voucher promise for postage only when they receive the return in good condition — fine, but the whole thing was exhausting. I like the product look, but the return process and mixed messages from staff left me pretty wary about buying again.
Pretty great trays, messy delivery
I love how the trays look and use them every week for meal prep, but the whole delivery situation left me pretty uneasy. I ordered a set from Nordic and paid for DPD next-day because I needed them for hosting a small dinner — the trays arrived on my mental checklist, but not in reality. I just gotta say, the ornaments I bought from this company were seriously gorgeous! I snagged 3 ornaments in all, 2 of 'em by Kay Bojesen. They were just too cute and top-notch quality, I was blown away that they were so affordable. I checked out Amazon UK and this company's prices were way better! Yep, even though it took a bit longer for my goodies to arrive thanks to Brexit, the customer service peeps were awesome and hooked me up with a shipping reference. I already put in another order with 'em and I totally recommend this company to anyone in the market for some killer Scandinavian stuff at killer prices!
Bowls that were supposed to be black-brown
I recently bought some bowls that were advertised as black-brown, but when they arrived, they actually looked more like a dull grey. I couldn't see any hint of brown and barely any black. When I reached out to complain about the misleading color description, they simply brushed it off by saying there could be 'variation in color'. It was really disappointing, to say the least.
Mug Set Purchase
Recently, I bought a bunch of mugs from this shop, but half of them came cracked when they arrived. I tried reaching out to customer service for a refund, but they were not helpful at all and didn't respond. I had to go the extra mile and file a claim through PayPal because the seller wasn't helping me out. I suggest not buying anything from this store if you want your items to arrive intact.
Christmas blanket order
I'm really upset about my Christmas blanket order. I was supposed to get it before Christmas, but they didn't even send it out until the 29th. So I couldn't even give it as a gift on Christmas Day.
