Also report the site to your local cybercrime unit and to Google Safe Browsing — I did both and it felt good to at least try to shut it down. A few practical notes: keep screenshots, note transaction IDs, and warn other travelers — that alone might save someone time and money. I’m writing this like I’d tell a buddy on a forum: straightforward, no fluff — check the paperwork, don’t rely on glossy design, and trust your gut if something smells off. If you want to avoid the headache, go with a known insurer or one recommended by your embassy or airline. One weird upside — the slickness of their site is a telling sign in itself. Heads up and be careful out there.
