I hadn’t left enough margin, and they cropped the image at a bad place. Not ideal, but fixable, so I just asked for a reprint with corrected margins.
That’s when the friction started. The second file was essentially the same as the first, only with more whitespace, but they rejected it as "obscene." I pushed back, pointed out they’d printed it once already, and asked for a refund or a straightforward reprint. Instead of addressing the request, they proposed censoring the art with a mosaic, similar to what you see in some Japanese prints. Okay — weird, but if that’s the rule, I can work with it. I modified the file, sent it back, got approval, then a week later they emailed again saying the mosaic wasn’t pixelated enough and needed to be bigger. I did that. Approved. A week later, another email: the artist refused to print without further changes. They suggested an emoji heart as censorship. I did that. Then another request to make the emoji larger. The back-and-forth stretched over four weeks before they finally agreed to print.
During that drawn-out approval process I had unrelated bank-card fraud. Someone used my card in places I couldn’t possibly have been, so the bank canceled the number and issued a new one. That introduced a real complication: how the company would issue a refund on a canceled card, and it made me less comfortable pushing for money back. I ended up making compromises I probably wouldn’t have otherwise. That’s not the company’s fault per se, but it influenced decisions I made while dealing with them.
Fast forward several years and I decided to change the cover again. This time I used anime-style artwork rather than photorealistic imagery, and the order went through, printed and shipped, without the same censorship gymnastics. The print quality was consistent with the earlier item: the fabric and image reproduction were fine, and I knew I had no reason to complain about the product itself. That was another small satisfaction moment — realizing different styles got different internal responses from them, but when they print, they print well.
What throws the whole relationship into suspicion is that after that second order, I received a very targeted phishing email pretending to be from my bank that included my full credit card number, expiration, and CVV. I froze the card, got a replacement, and I’m not saying the company definitely leaked anything, but the timing made me uneasy. The new card had hardly been used — I’d only used it at my bank’s ATM and then with this company. The item also sat in customs in Alaska for a couple of weeks, so I had weird timing and a long window where my account details were floating around. Take that as rumor-level suspicion, but it changed how I saw the whole experience.
So here’s the practical takeaway. If you need erotic or borderline artwork printed, they will do it, and the physical product can be good. The trouble is the approval process is inconsistent and slow, and their staff will request multiple rounds of censorship in ways that feel arbitrary. Customer service is the weak link: a lot of dragging and changing requirements. Delivery can be hit-or-miss with customs delays. Price-wise, it’s reasonable for what you get.
I’ve used other print shops that refused work outright, and I’ve had some good experiences with niche vendors that are upfront about their policies. Compared to those, this company sits somewhere in the middle: capable on the technical side, unreliable on communication and privacy handling, at least in my experience. Emotionally, it sucked to have to haggle for weeks over pixel size and emoji dimensions; that part made me more cautious than I needed to be, and left a lingering mistrust.
If you try them, think practical: expect to be asked for changes, expect delays, and don’t rely on a refund to be easy if something goes sideways. And seriously consider using a temporary payment method you can cancel once the transaction clears. I was satisfied when I finally held the finished pillow cover and everything looked right — but satisfaction came after a lot of friction, not because the company made the process smooth.Sketchy but serviceable — buyer beware

I was really disappointed with the dresses I got from this company. They took forever to arrive and looked nothing like the pictures online. Plus, the quality was just awful. The service was terrible too, the worst I've ever experienced. I ordered the dresses for our staff uniforms, but they're so ugly that it would be embarrassing for our staff to wear them.

My custom mouse pad from this place is awesome! I've had it for over a year and it still looks brand new. The colors are so bright and haven't faded. And get this, I had it shipped halfway across the world for only 5 bucks! I totally recommend this place for their great prices and top-notch products.

100 face masks
I picked up a hundred face masks recently and it went pretty smoothly. I placed the order about a month ago, and everything went fine. I reached out to customer service via email and the masks were delivered shortly after that. When I first saw the masks, I was a bit unsure because they looked different than what I'm used to, but they seemed legit. They were a bit loose on my face, but they worked well. I gave them a try and they seemed like good quality. The nose piece isn't flimsy, which is great.

This uncertainty about delivery stressed me out.<br><br>b>Despite these issues, the quality of the garment was really good. The seams, colors, and artwork were well done. The final product was better than I expected and showed the skill and detail of the people who made it. However, the preview options provided by ArtsCow were inaccurate which made me anxious about the final product.<br><br>ArtsCow's misleading address saying they're in Texas but actually in China was concerning and made me question the brand. This lack of transparency took away from the overall experience and made me doubt the company's reliability. Even though the product was good, ArtsCow's communication and transparency need improvement.
Mini double-sided fleece blanket
I didn't know what to expect, but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with my order! The picture looks great, the colors popped, and the fleece is soft even though it's not super thick. The only downside is it's a little thin, so you can kinda see the image through the other side. But overall, I'm really impressed with the quality and will definitely get a bigger one next time.
Designs printed with shifts in pattern
I ordered two designs printed on clothes from this website - one in regular size and one in plus size. The regular size one looked good, but the plus size had some weird shifts in the pattern that created extra blank space on the edges. When I reached out to customer service, they took a while to get back to me and basically brushed off my concerns. It wasn't until I mentioned their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee that they finally admitted their mistake. By then, it was too late for me to get a replacement in time for my event!
Personalized items from an online store
I'm so torn about this website. I mean, I love that I can personalize all kinds of stuff like watches, purses, bags, and coin purses. Every time I've placed an order, the final product looks just like what I designed, and the colors are so vivid and beautiful. But man, the wait time for my orders is unreal! If you're in a hurry, definitely don't buy from here because it seriously takes forever to get your package. Greeting cards with poor print quality
I ordered some greeting cards that had a glossy inside surface, which made it really hard to write on. The print quality was pretty bad, so I would recommend not using their cards.
