    Ghosted after I paid

    I saw this place in an Instagram ad and even told a friend to check it out, so I felt pretty annoyed when things went sideways. Placed an order, got zero follow-up email (nothing), so I reached out myself a few days later. Customer support said part of my order wasn’t in stock but the rest would ship — cool, fine. Then it just sat. A couple of days of silence, then a generic cancellation email with no reason. No one could explain it; the rep kept saying “higher ups” know but I couldn’t talk to them. Annoying and feels dodgy (that’s the bit that stuck with me). I did end up getting one item eventually, which was okay quality, so it’s not all bad — it can work — but the refund process was a mess and I had to open a chargeback with my bank. Wouldn’t recommend if you want clear communication or a fast refund.

    Almost talked myself out of it

    I almost waited to order until I was sure, mostly because I was skeptical about buying big bottles online — you hear too many packing horror stories. I went for a liter each of shampoo and conditioner plus a shine spray and a leave-in. The two big bottles were fine and actually made my morning showers easier, which I'm really happy about. The leave-in, sadly, showed up empty because the cap wasn't on tight and it leaked all through the box. I tried calling support, left a bunch of messages, messaged the website, even rang a store where a helpful guy promised to pass it on, but responses were slow or never came. An "Angie" emailed a few days later asking for pics, I sent them, and then it went quiet again. So my nerves about ordering online haven't totally gone away, though I'm grateful the shampoo and conditioner work great for everyday use and the price was nice. I'll probably stick to in-store for now unless support gets better.

    Crazy good scent, weird packaging

The box looked like it had been through a rough day (one side totally squashed) but five of the six cans were fine, and honestly the new fragrance blew me away — didn’t expect that at all, it’s subtle but fresh, kind of surprised me in a good way. One can had a ding and felt like it was less full; that one was definitely light, maybe only a third in there. I emailed customer service and they asked for a lot of photos and details (I’d already tossed the box — rookie move), and that part of it was clunky and kind of a letdown. Still, I used a few cans and they worked just like the originals, hold was good, no weird residue, and for the price I feel like I got more than I deserved. Would I buy again? Probably, but next time I’ll keep the box and take pics right away in case CS needs them. Tip: if you see a site sale like that, share it with someone — we both saved a ton. Little annoyances with the dent and the return policy put a damper on it, but the smell, performance, and price made me smile. So yeah, mixed bag but overall pretty happy.

    That one time I almost bailed — then they actually made it right

    But here’s where it flips. I decided to post a short note on their Facebook — not in a mean way, just asking what happened — and within a few hours their social team reached out. That fast human response honestly changed my mood. They escalated it to someone named Angie at corporate who actually dug into my order history and explained there had been a weird system flag tied to past online issues (ugh, boring backend stuff), which led to an automatic cancel. Still annoying, but at least they explained it. At first they offered a 20% discount and a $10 code, which felt a bit light given the size of my order. I said that — politely but firm — and asked if they could do more since I’d been charged and it was a pretty big purchase for me.
    And they listened. Not perfectly, but they listened. Angie and the social rep coordinated to credit the difference to my order, reprocess everything at the sale price, and expedite shipping so I wouldn’t be stuck waiting. It took a couple of back-and-forth messages (and I followed up once when the credit didn’t show up right away), but they fixed it. My card was adjusted, the package shipped, and everything arrived really quickly and exactly as expected. They even included a small sample which was a nice touch — not necessary, but thoughtful.
    So my original doubts? Mostly gone. I’ll admit I still think their first automated cancellation without notice was rough — that part annoyed me and did make me hesitate to order again — but their social team actually turned it around. The human touch mattered: quick replies, someone who escalated, and a resolution that matched what I felt was fair. Would I shop there again? Yeah, I would. I’d probably reach out on chat proactively if anything weird pops up, but overall it ended up being a pretty good experience once they engaged. Friendly heads-up: if you see a great sale there, don’t be afraid to jump — just keep an eye on your email and don’t hesitate to poke them on social if something seems off.

    Here for the liter deals

    the free samples. They used to throw in little extras that got me hooked on products I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. Not perfect — sometimes a bottle arrives a tad squished and the site layout can be a bit confusing — but the stuff itself feels good and lasts. The email coupons are dangerous (in a good way), they make it hard not to click buy. Bottom line: solid value during sales, sensible shipping, and I keep coming back. I recommend keeping an eye on the promo emails — they pop up often and you'll save.

    Hair curler purchase

    I bought a hair curler from this store and had a bad time trying to return it because it was faulty. I realized they made a mistake with the sales tax and owed me just 20 cents. I called to ask about getting my refund but they told me to come back to the store to pick up the small amount. I asked if they could just refund it to my debit card, but they said no. When I asked to talk to a manager, they were rude and wouldn't fix the mistake. I had to get corporate involved after a heated argument. Overall, a really frustrating and disappointing customer service experience.

    Knock off Biolage shampoo and conditioner

    I was so let down by my recent buy from this store. I got a set of Biolage shampoo and conditioner, but what I actually got was obviously a fake. The bottles seemed the same, but the label was totally different from the official Biolage stuff. I even double-checked on their website, and yep, the labels didn't match. It's not right for a store to try to sell fake products as legit. And on top of that, it took a whole 3 weeks for my order to even get here.

    Beauty product purchase

    I wouldn't bother dealing with this company. I ordered a beauty product for $114 and it never showed up. The company they took over from, Beautify Me, was impossible to reach. Luckily, Mina from Beauty Brands did try to help by contacting Beautify Me for me. But something about the situation just doesn't sit right with me. I don't think I can trust a company that seems fishy and took over from one with a bad reputation like that.

    I just placed an order for some hair products online and man, it was a mess! They didn't bother telling me that the stuff wasn't even in stock; I had to reach out to them first. Then out of the blue, my order gets cancelled with no explanation whatsoever. Seriously, what gives? Customer service didn't even have a clue as to why it got cancelled - apparently only the higher-ups know, but I couldn't even get in touch with them. It's like I'm just supposed to suck it up and not question anything. That's just not right, dude.

    Online order cancellation

    I just had a really frustrating situation with an online order I made on Beauty Brands. I was totally surprised to see that my order got canceled without me getting any heads up. They said it was because of "previous online order issues," but I was never told about any problems before. As a customer, it really sucked not getting any communication about what was going on. I get that mistakes can happen, but I think it's super important to be clear and honest with customers to keep their trust and keep them happy.

    Liters sales, good hair products, coupons

    I've been a customer at this store for a few years now and I gotta say, I always have a great experience. The sales they have on liters and good hair products are just amazing, way better than what I've seen at other stores. And let me tell you, those coupons they send via email make it real hard for me to resist buying more products. The customer service is top-notch, any issues I've had were quickly taken care of. Shipping usually takes about a week, which works fine for me. The only bummer is they no longer include free samples in the packages, which I used to love because it was a great way for me to try new products. But overall, I'm a huge fan of this store and I've definitely seen it get better over the years.

    Tools days and many calls to receive a message about beauty brands shipping. They were not responsible. The Fed Express contact was never resolved. I spent 56$ and have never received any product. Your Customer Service sucks ! I do alot of shopping on line. This is the worse treatment I ever had. I will tell everyone I meet not to buy from you.
