I remember being halfway through a loud crowd at a gaming event, testing chairs while my son tugged on my sleeve — that’s where this all started. He’d been complaining about a sore lower back after long homework and gaming sessions; his old chair was basically a wooden plank with wheels. Trying this chair in person made me notice how the padding supports you right where you need it, and the lumbar curve isn’t a gimmick — it actually sits in the small of the back. The seat foam is firm but not brutal, and the cover has a bit of grip so you don’t slide forward when you lean in. We ordered because I wanted something that would help his posture, and because after that demo I felt confident it wouldn’t fall apart in a season. Delivery came a few days after the holidays, nicely boxed, and assembly was straightforward — maybe half an hour, nothing fancy. They even packed a pair of gloves, which was a small but appreciated touch. The armrests adjust in all directions and the tilt lock is smooth, so he can switch from studying to leaning back without hassle. It’s been the centerpiece of his room for months now; his back complaints have reduced and he actually sits properly more often. Happy we chose it — worth the money for the comfort.
Solid desk, shaky everything around it
promised two business days, but it sat unshipped for a week and only moved after I reached out. The tracking info was confusing, showing the desk in one city while a missed delivery was already logged elsewhere. I had to contact support twice for the same order — not great. The app is the biggest disappointment. No option to auto-launch with Windows, no custom LED profiles, just preset scenes even though they hype an "AI Algorithm." Game integration is patchy; most big titles aren’t supported and the generic gaming mode barely does anything. For a product sold on its tech, that felt misleading. Also, several accessories pictured on the site — side rail, suspension pod, magnetic cable clips — are absent and not available to buy. At this price ($1175) that’s annoying. Small design choices add up: only two height presets when cheaper desks offer more, and the LED USB-C cable is frustratingly short so you end up buying an extension. Cable management could’ve been thought through better: the connection is on the left leg, so you juggle the leg cable and a power strip cable instead of a single tidy plug. I like the desk itself enough to recommend it if the build and motion are what you care about most, but be ready for a messy unboxing, a weak app, and extra purchases. If they fix support, add the missing accessories, and improve the software, it’d be a winner.
