I almost talked myself out of buying this. It felt like a tiny splurge I didn’t need, and I hesitated because of the price and mixed online chatter. In the end I went for it — evenings after work, as a little unwind ritual. The first few times were actually really nice. Smooth, satisfying, exactly the kind of treat I had hoped for. I used it in short sessions though, not marathon stuff. Then it started to smell faintly like something was overheating. I kept letting it cool, thinking maybe I was being paranoid. That paranoia turned out to be justified. After a handful of uses — two weeks in — it just stopped turning on. Dead. No warning, and it had become noticeably warm every time before that happened. Despite all that, I’m honestly relieved it ended up moving toward a resolution — the replacement was finally set in motion and I’m grateful it didn’t turn into a complete loss. Still, this whole process could be so much smoother if the warehouse and support folks were on the same page. If you need this for pain or stress relief, know that it can work, but be ready for extra emails and patience. I hope they sort out their logistics and train their team better — this was avoidable and stressful, but at least it’s not a total disaster anymore.
