I eventually stopped wasting time, threw the unit away (yeah, I admit it), and chalked the loss up to a bad buy. Practically speaking, the product didn’t feel reliable at all: slow to respond, intermittent signals, and the kind of freezes that make you nervous to rely on it for navigation. If you need something sturdy and you can’t be flipping switches mid-drive, this wasn’t it for me. Public marketplaces with clear return policies are where I’ll buy next time.
