My experience with Catawiki has been absolutely amazing. I've bought a bunch of cool vintage items on there, and every time, everything went really smoothly. The website is super easy to use, so it's a breeze to browse and bid on stuff. Plus, they always kept me in the loop on what was going on with my purchases. One time, I had a problem with something I bought, but Catawiki fixed it right away to make sure both me and the seller were happy. Their customer service is top-notch and really makes them stand out from other online auction sites. I'll definitely keep using Catawiki to grow my collection and wouldn't think twice about selling stuff on there too.
Artwork purchase
This whole purchase was super easy, no issues at all. The info they gave me was really clear, so I felt totally confident the whole time. I had a question for the artist, and they got back to me right away, which I thought was awesome. My order showed up right on schedule, all wrapped up nice and even came with a certificate which was a nice surprise. The art itself is just amazing, I'm so thrilled with it. Thanks Catawiki, you've definitely gained a loyal customer with this one.
Wooden frame purchase
My experience with Catawiki buying a wooden frame was pretty good. Everything went smoothly and I was happy with what I got. But, I do think they could do better with their shipping system, especially by lowering the shipping costs for buyers. It would make things even better for all of us.

parcel did not come because seller set incorrect phone number. Parcel go back to seller and no refund was provided. -395 euro. I opened claim with bank and open police claim for scamming... will for for them to punish

CATAWIKI IS A FRAUDULENT SITE. I was a customer of Catawiki, and have spent a considerable sum on this platform. Some items I purchased were ok, but several turned out to be either fake, or damaged…. When you contact the sellers, they are always in complete denial and refuse to accept any responsibility and refer you to Catawiki. Some are even rude and condescending: “designer clothes aren’t for everyone “, “prove that the item is not leather “, “you clearly misunderstood because you don’t understand the language “, and so on ….. When you contact Catawiki they then leads you into a labyrinthine kafkaesque complaint process that is a complete waste of time and leads to nothing. These are photos of 3 items from Catawiki, the 1st was shrunk, the second two were fakes. DON’T THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY, THIS IS A FRAUD OPERATION
