why isn’t there more advertising? If more buyers were funneled here, I think things would turn around quickly. So I’m glad I left eBay and I’m optimistic, but not yet thrilled. If eBid invested more in marketing and visibility, this could be a great daily driver for someone like me who needs quick PayPal payouts. For now I’m cautiously thankful — the move wasn’t a disaster, but it also hasn’t solved everything. I’ll keep listing and hope their traffic picks up; I want to be pleasantly surprised.
Pretty promising, needs a few tweaks
I like it and I see real potential, but some choices today hold it back. I signed up and started using eBid today, just poking around to list a few things, so this is an early take. First impression was that the site feels clean and simple. Navigation is straightforward. Images upload fine. That made me smile. Then I hit the listing limits and felt annoyed, a bit. The tier setup makes sense in theory. In practice the Silver plan feels tiny — five listings and one image is almost laughable. People who just want to clear out a few things quickly won’t stick around if they get blocked that fast. Gold is better with a lot more listings and images, maybe even too generous for casual sellers. Platinum looks solid for regular users, and honestly that one could work well. I’d prefer if they allowed unlimited listings and collected the small final-value fees instead. It’s a different revenue model, but it would probably get more inventory and traffic. Also, why not sell single promoted listings for a one-time fee? Sometimes you just want one item gone fast. That option would bring in extra cash and help sellers. Another thing: I barely saw any ads or marketing for eBid. If they want growth, they have to show up more in searches and comparison sites. So yeah, overall I’m optimistic. The platform runs fine, feels trustworthy, and the higher tier is attractive. But the entry-level limits and the lack of pay-per-promote options are real friction points. Try it if you sell regularly or plan to. If you’re casual, watch the limits or consider Platinum if you plan to use it a lot.
Listing in the middle of a cleanup
5 listings and one photo each feels like they built a wall right where momentum starts. If you're like me and you want to clear a few boxes over a weekend, that cap is annoying and it slows everything down. I kept thinking, why not let people list more and just take a small final-fee cut? It would make the place feel busier and more worth checking again.
That said, there was a surprise: I upgraded to Platinum just to see if it was worth it and actually, it worked — the extra listings and image allowance made my life easier and one of the nicer things was the bulk upload felt smooth, which I wasn't expecting. So Platinum is genuinely useful if you sell regularly. Gold sits awkwardly — lots of listings and images, maybe overkill for someone who just has a bunch of odd items once in a while.
Other things I noticed in day-to-day use: no easy pay-for-single-promoted-listing option (would be perfect for quick sales), and it feels like eBid could use better advertising — I rarely see it in search results. Service response was fine, nothing flashy. Pricing could be rearranged to help casual sellers more; right now Silver feels like it’s pushing people away rather than welcoming them. Overall, I’ll keep using it to sell leftover things, but I hope they rethink the basic tier limits — that change alone would make it way more useful for people like me.Software package
I ordered a software package and paid for it using PayPal. I was directed back to the seller's page to buy it again. I tried contacting the seller through eBid and PayPal email, but I didn't get any response. Luckily, PayPal refunded me right away!
Auction items
I had a rough time on eBid, honestly. It felt really slow and kind of annoying as a buyer. The whole website just seems all jumbled up and hard to figure out, you know? It's a pain trying to find what you want on there. Plus, the whole buying and payment stuff is a mess, super confusing for everyone involved. And let's not even talk about how hard it is to get any feedback from other people - it's like no one is listening!
Cool stickers
I got some awesome stickers from eBid. They were just what I needed to jazz up my notebook and flex my style at school. The colors were super vibrant and the quality was top-notch. I was thrilled with my purchase and will definitely shop on eBid in the future!
Damaged goods received
I bought something on eBid, but it came damaged. The seller didn't respond, and the order got archived before I could sort things out. I tried using the Contact Us form on the eBid site, but it wasn't working. I'm pretty frustrated and disappointed with this whole situation, and now my view of eBid has definitely taken a hit.
Online auction site experience
I've been using this online auction site for more than ten years now and I've always had good experiences. The folks selling stuff on here have been straight-up and quick, which makes everything go smoothly and stress-free. Once you get the hang of how the website works, it's pretty easy to use. I like that it's fast and reliable. Compared to a similar site, this one's way better because it hardly ever has bugs or issues, especially when you're trying to list something for sale. The prices are usually better here too because they don't charge much or at all for selling stuff. It's a good deal for buyers. Overall, I'm super happy with this auction site and I don't have any complaints at all.
Positive experience
As a buyer on this site, I've had a really good experience. Buying my product was easy and stress-free. The website is easy to use, making it simple to find what I'm looking for. The transaction felt safe and I was sure about my purchase. Overall, I'm happy with how everything went and I'll probably come back for more buys in the future.
Easy import feature for eBay products
I was really impressed by how easy it was to import stuff from eBay to this site. It saved me a whole bunch of time and headache compared to other places I've tried selling on. The price is definitely worth it, especially since I didn't have much luck on other sites like MadeMe.uk and NuMonday.
Selling experience comparison between eBid and eBay
I think eBid is way better than eBay for selling stuff. It's more professional, accurate, and cheaper in terms of fees, especially for lifetime sellers. I definitely suggest giving eBid a try for all your selling needs.
Awesome find!
I came across this really awesome thing on eBid that I couldn't find anywhere else. The website was user-friendly, didn't give me any issues when creating an account or making a purchase. About a month later, I got an email from them asking for a review, which goes to show they really value their customers and quality control.
Irish blackthorn shillelagh walking stick
I just got this awesome Irish blackthorn shillelagh walking stick from Paddy Rathmore in Ireland. It's handcrafted with real blackthorn wood and is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really shine through, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. Knowing it was grown, cut, and made in Ireland and then sent directly to me just adds to its authenticity and charm. I'm thrilled to add it to my collection!
Postcards for a cause
I've been buying postcards from this seller on eBid for years now, and every time is a great experience. The postcards are top-notch and always arrive quickly. It's awesome that the money goes to help cats in need, making the purchase even better. I really respect the seller for supporting a good cause and getting the products out so efficiently. Thanks, eBid, for having such a cool collection of postcards that also support a good cause.
Online selling and buying platform
eBid is a great platform for sellers and buyers alike. I really liked the low fees they have - definitely better than other sites. It made it easy for me to sell my stuff without stressing about costs. And as a buyer, I noticed eBid has some competitive prices. The site is user-friendly and makes the whole buying and selling process smooth. I would definitely suggest giving eBid a try if you're looking to buy or sell stuff online.
Online selling experience
My time selling on eBid has been pretty good. The website is simple to use and I can easily list my items for sale. The support team has always been there for me when I had any problems or questions. Sales can be up and down, but when I do make a sale, it's usually worth it.
New home for listing and purchasing
I had to switch to a new website to buy and sell things since the old one was asking for too much money. Thankfully, I came across eBid and now it's my go-to spot for shopping and getting rid of stuff. It's amazing!
Selling on eBid
I just started selling on eBid, and it's been a breeze. Their fees are way better than other online platforms, which is a big plus for sellers like me. Plus, the folks on eBid are super nice and always willing to lend a hand. Overall, it's been a really positive experience.
Lower fees, old school website
The fees are lower than other platforms, but the website and features seem a bit outdated. Sometimes it takes a day or two for listings to show up on Google Shopping, which can be annoying. Overall, it's good for simple transactions.
Online marketplace comparison
I just compared Ebid to another big online marketplace and let me tell you, Ebid is way better all around. The fees for sellers are more fair, so they can offer lower prices on their stuff. It's also easier to list items for sale on Ebid, and the search tool actually works unlike some other sites. Plus, having PayPal as a payment option adds extra security for transactions, keeping everyone safe.
