The table was meant for my mother, but she passed away before we could put it together. I asked to return it, and the first collection quote was £30 for a £90 item. After I left a review, they called and agreed to collect it for £10 instead. That pickup never happened. I had to bring all three boxes back to my place and book another date. DPD finally arrived, though they had only been told about one package. They did take everything, and the company later confirmed it was returned in perfect condition. Still, the refund was only £59.95. They kept £30, not the £10 we had agreed on. I emailed several times and got no useful response. Pretty disappointing.
Worth the worry (mostly)
solid feel, good color, no weird smells, and the drawers slide smoothly — that little moment of relief, you know? I did worry about support because they mostly reply by email and the language can be a bit clunky, but every question I sent got a real answer and they actually sent a small compensation for the hassle, which helped calm me down. It isn't perfect — price felt a bit high and the wait annoyed me — but now that it's in place and being used daily, I'm genuinely happy. If you can tolerate a slower delivery and email-only contact, I'd say go for it.

Half decent idea, poor follow-through
I had to unassemble everything carefully, pay the helper again, and pay Parcelforce about £17.20 to send the 26 kg box back. The listing wasn’t clear about assembly being a two-person job, that info was hidden somewhere if it was there at all. If you’re thinking of using this as a visible divider or main bookshelf for daily use, I’d be cautious — it’s fine for light, temporary storage but not for a polished look or heavy use. Overall I’m relieved to have my money back but annoyed at the hassle. Could’ve bought something sturdier elsewhere for less and with fewer headaches. So, heads up: the idea is fine and the size worked for my apartment, but the build, delivery, and finishing details are where it fell short.
Too good to be true
it arrives, I start putting parts together and it turns out it absolutely can’t swap orientation. I called post-sales and, after a bit of back-and-forth, they admitted the first person was wrong. That alone is annoying, but what really stung was the solution: a tiny refund offer (5%, then 7.5% when I pushed back) and no real return option because it was partly assembled. Now I have a desk that won’t fit where I need it, and the thought of selling it second-hand feels like extra hassle I don’t want. On the plus side, the build and finish are actually decent — it would’ve been perfect if the info had been correct. So yeah, like the product itself, but the bad info and weak aftercare made this a frustrating experience.
