I thought I had scored a smart buy — a grinder machine that looked the part. It worked fine at first. Then one morning it stopped mid-brew and water gushed from the reservoir, all over the counter. Sent photos and videos. They agreed to replace it, which took two weeks to arrive. Replacement lasted almost three months. Then same leak. I asked about warranty reset and was told no, it won't restart. Customer service was polite but stuck to scripts. Delivery was slow. Not great. It brews when it wants. I've had better luck with smaller brands, honestly.
Practical compromise
the grinder knob stuck right away so I started grinding beans separately, and the warming plate never really keeps coffee hot so I nuke cups sometimes. Instructions were vague on unclogging the grinder, which annoyed me. Still, on rushed mornings when it churns out a solid cup fast, I feel like it was worth it. Not perfect, but useful enough to keep. I use it almost every day, and overall it's become part of my routine.
Underwhelming support, decent delivery
I got this espresso machine as a gift and started using it right away. First few weeks it looked fine. It brewed like it should and handled my morning routine. I kept up with the cleaning exactly as the manual said. Around month nine it stopped brewing. No strange sounds, just nothing. I opened a help ticket with the manufacturer and they asked me to sign up for an account and send a bunch of emails, receipts and videos. I did that. I even offered to buy parts if needed. After all that they refused to help because the unit was bought on a resale site. They told me to contact the eBay seller for repairs. That wasn’t an option for me, and they didn’t offer any real workaround. Delivery itself had been fine — arrived on time, packaging okay, no damage. But the customer service was abrupt and closed the case without a fix. I’m left with a non-working machine and little guidance. I expected a manufacturer to give at least basic troubleshooting or parts info regardless of where it was bought. Disappointed. I won’t be purchasing from them again.
