they flat-out refused me because I put Iran as my country. The form was slick, clear, even friendly — which made the "we don't cover your country" message extra weird. Heads-up to others from Iran: don't bother, try elsewhere.
Help showed up when it mattered

Not the best choice for a shaky visa
