Website design service
Hey, everyone. So, if you're a small business in need of a website design service, don't go with this company. I learned the hard way that not reading the fine print can really bite you. The terms and conditions they have are crazy. Basically, if you agree to them, you can't take any issues to court and you basically lose ownership of anything you put on the site. Like, how is that okay? I thought I was just getting a site made, but it turns out I was giving up a lot more than I thought.
Bathroom accessories set
I recently bought a bathroom accessories set from this website and I absolutely love it! The quality is top-notch and they offer a wide variety of options. The only downside is that it can be a challenge to find all the matching pieces I want. For example, I was looking for matching bathroom bars, pulls, and hooks, but I had to search for the model numbers on a different site before coming back here to find them. It was a bit of a hassle, but I eventually found everything I needed and I'm really pleased with my purchase.
Waste of time and money
This service is awful! I wouldn't recommend signing up. I wasted more than 6 months on their priciest plan and didn't get any good leads. Only received 2 requests in that time, from different areas, which is way below what they said I would get. Plus, those 2 requests were for a potential project in 2 years - not exactly promising. Save your cash and put it towards something else, learn from my error.
Home décor purchase
Hey there, just wanted to give you all a heads up. I had a bit of a rough experience with posting a negative review on this site. The company took it down pretty quickly, which made me feel like they only want good reviews showing. It's kind of suspicious to see most of the architects only have perfect ratings. I wish they would value their customers' real thoughts more than just their image. It's a bummer, you know?
Subscription renewal issue
I had a bad experience with renewing my subscription on Houzz. I was a customer for 2 years but didn't see any benefits, so I wanted to cancel. Houzz sent me an email confirming my cancellation, but they still renewed my contract without asking me. They even ignored my request to cancel and kept charging me. This is dishonest and feels like a scam. I suggest others avoid using their services.
Custom home from Lentel Construction
Lentel Construction built our custom home and the experience was not good. The foreman, Peter, asked about a beam in our master bedroom ceiling that was concerning because I didn't design it. I asked my brother for help since he recommended Lentel due to a family connection. When my brother mentioned the beam to Greg, the owner, Greg's response was pretty rude. He asked my brother how many homes he had built, even though he had a lot of experience and had taught construction at BCIT. Also, Lentel doesn't support their subcontractors. Our Innotech Windows have a White Haze issue, with noticeable flaws up to 8 feet long in some cases. Both Greg and George from Innotech have seen the problem but claim it's the best they can do. We don't recommend these companies at all.
White bar stools purchase
I bought four white bar stools from the website, and let me tell you, it was a total letdown. I spent $12000 on them, thinking I'd get all four in white. But when they were delivered, it turns out I got three white stools and one green stool. My contractor put them together, and it was only then that I realized the error.
Swivel rockers purchase
I just got these really cool swivel rockers from an online store and gotta admit, the whole thing was super easy. I found the best deal on these rockers compared to other places. The quality is top-notch and I'm really impressed with how smoothly the whole buying process went.
Lamp Purchase
Oh my gosh, these lamps are absolutely gorgeous! They make my room look really cool and they're such good quality. They came in this big box all wrapped up nicely. I'm seriously thrilled with them, they're the best!
Living room furniture
The stuff they have on Houzz is amazing. I found just what I needed for my extra living room. They offer so many choices and styles on the site, it's crazy. Plus, the ideas and inspiration they share really got me excited to splurge. Now I'm just counting down the days until my new furniture gets here. I'm super happy with how easy it was to shop on Houzz.
Chairs
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited about the chairs I bought! They looked awesome on the website, and in person, they were even better. The price was really good, and the fact that they came with a warranty deal was amazing. I'm really looking forward to showing them off to all my friends!

This place is such a scam! They promised one thing and did the opposite. Their prices are ridiculous and they totally lied about their products. It's as if they assume we're made of money or something. And let me tell you about their customer service - worthless! They just kept giving me excuses and didn't actually solve anything. On top of that, the delivery took forever. I'm never coming back, not worth it at all!

I recently got a new phone and I'm loving it! I wanted something that could handle all the usual stuff, and the website recommended the perfect one. The customer service team was super helpful and helped me pick out exactly what I was looking for.

I gotta say, being a customer at Houzz, I was really impressed with their selection of home decor items. The quality is top-notch. I was happy to see so many options to choose from, which made it super easy to find exactly what I needed to upgrade my space. The only hiccup I ran into was with coordinating delivery to two different locations. It would be really helpful if there was a more advanced delivery option that allowed customers to choose different delivery preferences for each item, especially for larger pieces.
Kitchen renovation leads
I was so let down by the leads I got from Houzz. We made it clear we only wanted custom kitchen renovations, but we kept getting asked about small projects we didn't want. It was annoying that the platform wasn't giving us the right leads. And to top it off, we went two months without any project requests at all. It was just a confusing and frustrating situation all around.

I've gotta say, my experience as a customer of Houzz was great when it came to sales and customer service. But here's the thing - when I tried to leave a review for one of their vendor/contractors, I hit a snag. Even though I provided solid evidence of a lawsuit against the contractor and a judgment in my favor, their customer service team blocked my review. They said it had too much "opinion," but I made sure to stick to the facts. It was pretty disappointing that Houzz wouldn't let me share my honest experience with their vendor/contractor.
Customized item
I really liked how the company took the time to focus on my particular order and didn't just stop there. They went above and beyond by sending me a coupon when my credit card didn't work for a cheaper item. It's little things like this that truly make a company shine in my opinion.

But, my whole experience was kinda ruined by the slow uploads and the super slow checkout process. It was really annoying trying to browse the site and buy something when it took forever for the pages to load and for me to finish my order.

I ordered a couch from this company and it was a total nightmare! My mom ended up getting involved in a sketchy deal and they wouldn't allow her to cancel it. The customer service folks were avoiding our calls, which was super annoying. It's definitely a scam, those guys are a bunch of clowns.
Bar stool purchase
I found the perfect bar stool that goes so well with my table! It didn't take long to find one that matched just right - the height, width, and style all worked out perfectly. Plus, the price was just right!
