I wanted to let you know that I posted a review about a missing item not long ago, but I'm pleased to say that the item has finally arrived. I had to find the neighbor who had mistakenly received the item because I never got a delivery notification from the courier. It looks like the problem was actually on the courier's end, not iHerb's.
iHerb app, desktop page, filtered search, best sellers, supplements, Chinese medicine, dried herbs, apothecary
I really like the iHerb app, but I prefer using the desktop page. Sometimes the search filters don't work that great, especially when I'm trying to find the best products. But overall, iHerb is my go-to for vitamins and other supplements. It would be awesome if they offered more Chinese medicine products and a wider selection of dried herbs, like an old-fashioned apothecary.
Wide selection, loyal customer
My time with iHerb has been pretty good overall. I've been a regular customer for a few years now and I've always been amazed by the wide variety of products they offer. I've even told my family and friends about it because my shopping experiences with iHerb have been awesome. However, I've noticed that the prices have gone up a bit lately, which is kinda disappointing.
Supplements and wellness products
While iHerb does have some great deals on certain items, my time on their website has been quite a letdown. The main issue I've run into is with their shipping choices - it's like every product has its own mysterious way of getting to me. Even when I added stuff to my cart, the free shipping to Belgium option just vanished out of the blue, leaving me stuck with a high delivery fee. I also found out that the "free shipping" deal doesn't usually apply to items on sale, which just causes more confusion and wasted time. Trying to get help from customer service was a bust too. On top of all that, the option to pay with Bankontact has been on the fritz for months. And once that error pops up, there's no way to switch to a different payment method. All in all, the headaches I've dealt with on iHerb's site and app outweigh the savings they offer on their products.
Vitamins and supplements
I've been shopping at this online store for a long time, and their vitamin and supplement choices are really good. The customer service is awesome, they're always willing to help out with any questions. The shipping is crazy fast and the packaging is always on point. But the only bummer I've had is that even though I've been a loyal customer for years, I've never gotten any referral rewards because my friends all used the first-time discount instead of my code. It's kind of a letdown, to be honest.
