Halfway through my second shift I knew these weren't gonna work. I bought them because my back hurts and I stand on concrete all day. Delivery came quickly, which was nice, but customer service took ages to reply. Shoes felt okay at first, then blisters after an hour.
That morning, I trusted it
Right in the middle of a hectic coffee-fueled morning, I realized I trusted my reader — been with the same advisor for years. I use sessions for small daily choices and bigger life stuff; she’s blunt, gets me, and useful. A few slow replies, but glad I stuck with it.
Not what I expected, but service stepped in
Bought readings here for years, expected flashy answers—mostly crickets. Kept getting glitches and charges, and I felt ripped off compared to other sites. Customer support was slow, but after a few annoying chats they actually issued a refund and followed up. Not perfect, still wary, but credit arrived so thumbs up.
Couch-side experiment
I sat on my couch debating whether to try the app — I thought it was a scam, but honestly tried it for small stuff like whether to take a freelance gig or what to cook. It nudged me sometimes, other times it was vague. Doubts eased a bit, but not completely.
Close call, not a winner
I won’t order from them again, though it ended up usable. The pic promised a sleek gray but the item arrived a dull yellow and ran about two sizes small. Returns meant I paid shipping and the seller was pushy at first. After a complaint they gave a partial refund, so I’m less angry.
Weirdly relieved
I first saw this site on a friend's link and even told my sister to try it. At first I was furious — they charged me over $200 and said no refunds. After demanding a supervisor I got a $45 credit. I knew I was satisfied when the reading actually helped. Still pricey and a hassle, but it worked enough.
Finally sorted, but messy
Overall it worked out, though it was messy. I tried to return used boots that were listed as free returns. They said there was no order record and stopped answering for a bit. I sent invoice copies. It seemed like a third-party vendor even though it showed on Keen. After a few reminders they replied and processed it. Glad it ended okay.
Surprisingly comfy, with a catch
Liked them overall, surprised they were comfy right away. I wore them about five times for quick errands and standing at my desk. The center stitch leans more on one foot — odd, but not a deal breaker at first. Then the heel sole started to give. Kinda bummed, but glad they fit and felt good while they lasted and I'm thankful I tried them.
Skeptical then okay
I was skeptical at first but later felt satisfied. I tried the readers a few months ago when I was curious and desperate. First impression: vague answers, I felt like I was being milked for cash and that annoyed me, honestly. After a couple more sessions, a few readers gave practical, relevant points—still mixed results, but not a total rip-off.
Trail find that actually surprised me
First caught my eye on a buddy’s feet at the trailhead, and I was pretty skeptical — mostly about the price. Still bought them and they were comfy right away, broke in fast. Six months later there’s some scuffing and one stitch came loose (annoying), but they keep supporting my hikes and feel solid. Not perfect, but overall I’m glad I picked them up.
Nice fit, but not built to last
They’re super comfy right away — wide, good for long walks — it felt like walking on clouds at first, really, and I actually liked them. Trouble is the sole started coming away after not much use, happened on a few pairs I tried. Shame, because comfort's there. I'd still warn folks to check stitching and returns before buying.
Felt good at first
I liked them the first week — they felt broken-in right away and yard work was easy. That’s when I thought, ok, these are worth it. Fast forward a year and the tread started coming off, piece by piece. Comfortable but not durable. Paid about $200, expected longer life. If you need boots for heavy daily work, I’d skip these — good comfort, bad longevity.
Surprised by the hold
I was pretty annoyed at first — saw a preauthorized charge for ten minutes when I only used one, and I had no clue about the seamless pay hold. Then they emailed, explained what happened, and returned the unused funds. That moment when the refund hit and the message actually clarified things is when I finally relaxed. Relief more than anything. Heads up to others — check PayPal preauthorizations. Glad it worked out, just wish the app was clearer from the start.
Fits, but not built to last
I saw these on a buddy at the park and bought a pair because they actually fit me—fits me better than most. Ordered online, arrived a few days late but intact. After about six months the sole started peeling; same thing has happened before, so kind of a pattern. I use them for easy hikes with my dog and they're comfortable, just not durable. Contacted support and it was slow and not very helpful. Not perfect, still usable, but I'm looking elsewhere next time.
Calming chat, bad timing
I called Keen on my lunch break, half expecting nothing and half hoping for a clue about my husband's job search. The reader didn't predict anything that came true—he said end of July, then August, and it didn't happen. That was really frustrating. On the plus side he was a good listener and actually calmed me down, which I didn't expect. I still use the app sometimes when I'm making dinner and need someone to talk to. Take it as entertainment, not gospel, honestly.
Almost walked away
I almost walked away when the site kept acting weird — kept looping and refreshing, so I thought I’d skip it. I’ve been wearing their boots for years, though, so I kept trying. Chat was confusing at first, and phone wasn’t helpful, but someone actually got back to me later in the week like they said they would. Order finally went through, delivery was quick and the boots fit perfectly. So my doubts? Mostly gone. Not flawless — the ordering experience needs work — but the boots themselves and the follow-up made it worth it. I'm honestly relieved and pretty happy overall.
Been here for years, now wary
I've been on Keen as a reader for years, and honestly this latest tweak landed like a punch. I relied on steady bookings — this was my side income after a move and some rough months — and seeing months of good feedback suddenly matter less feels off. The site works, kind of clunky at times, booking flow can be slow, but clients still find you. The new setup favors shiny new profiles with a handful of fresh thumbs, which is demoralizing for long-timers. Not angry, just disappointed. I'll keep using it, but I'm watching everything closely now.
Half right, half a ride
I kept hopping between readers the past few months, usually during my lunch break or late at night with bad takeout and too much worry. A few sessions felt like real talks—one reader even hit a weird detail about my job and gave practical steps I actually tried the next day. That stuck with me. Other times it was vague, could’ve been anyone’s script, and I left more confused. So yeah, not perfect, and sometimes I feel a little hoodwinked, but I still use it to calm down and sort my head. The good ones help, even if it’s partly placebo.
Relief at last
I remember the exact moment I relaxed. I had been dealing with a company that answered like robots and ignored messages. Then I tried a different platform. The signup was easy. Support actually replied with real help, not a copy-paste line telling me to 'contact support' again. That’s when I knew I was satisfied. I felt respected. Projects moved forward. I started to thrive. It’s small things but they add up. If you’re hesitating, don’t stick with the same old. Try somewhere that listens — it changed everything for me.
Not a last-minute solution
I wouldn't trust them if you need a pair on short notice. I've been a Keen fan for about 20 years, but after my last Kovens started falling apart after a year I needed a replacement before a planned hiking trip to break them in. I managed to get one rep on the phone who converted part of the value into online store credit — that helped, at least. The shoes I ordered didn't fit, was told to return and reorder a bigger size. I ordered before 9am ET Thursday and by Friday evening nothing had shipped. I asked for escalation and never heard back. Mildly annoyed and a bit anxious — follow-up was poor.
